    摘要: A control device for a blood pump is provided. The blood pump control device includes an electronic control unit and an energy storage detachably connectable to the electronic control unit via a plug connection. The plug connection is configured to establish mechanical and electrical connections between the electronic control unit and the energy storage. The plug connection includes a frame of a housing and a frame insertion element. The frame insertion element is insertable into the frame in an insertion direction in at least two orientations that differ by a relative rotation between the frame and the frame insertion element about the insertion direction. The frame and the frame insertion element have one or more electrical coupling pairs to establish the electrical connection and are arranged to establish the electrical connection between the energy storage and the electronic control unit in the two or more orientations.

    摘要: The present disclosure describes intravascular oxygenation systems and methods with one or more of improved oxygen diffusion flux, improved resistance to bubble formation on the surface of non-porous hollow fibers, and reduced size. The systems and methods include a pneumatic inlet coupled to a pneumatic source that provides a gas containing oxygen at a high pressure. A plurality of hollow fiber membranes (HFM) are in pneumatic communication with the pneumatic inlet to receive the gas containing oxygen and with an outlet to exhaust a partially deoxygenated gas. An electronic controller drives the motor to oscillate the plurality of HFMs to cause a diffusive flux of the gas containing oxygen from the plurality of HFMs into a region of interest of a subject. The electronic controller may drive the motor according to an oscillation pattern, which may include a macro-oscillation with superimposed micro-oscillations.

    摘要: A crimp tool facilitates crimping a resiliently radially compressible human-implantable catheter pump, and transferring the crimped pump into a tubular transfer sheath, by pulling the heart pump through an elongated tube that defines a tapered longitudinal bore. The bore has an inside dimension that tapers gradually along the length of the bore. A large end of the bore is sufficient to accept an uncrimped heart pump. A small end of the bore has a dimension similar to an inside dimension of the transfer sheath. A proximal end of the tube has a hub. A proximal end of a bore through the hub is configured to receive a distal end portion of the transfer sheath coaxially with the tube bore. Optionally, a latch is configured to releasably restrain the distal end portion of the transfer sheath within the hub.
