摘要: A rolling bearing device includes a bearing portion and a power generation portion. The power generation portion has a plurality of projecting portions provided on an outer ring spacer, a pair of core members provided on an inner ring spacer, a magnet, and a coil. The power generation portion generates an induced current in the coil as the projecting portions pass in the vicinity of first side end portions of the core members during rotation. There are two different loop paths along which magnetism generated by the magnet flows: a first loop path formed when the projecting portions are close to the first side end portions of the core members; and a second loop path formed when the projecting portions and the first side end portions of the core members are away from each other.

摘要: A method for predicting the residual life of a bearing comprising the step of: measuring frequency of occurrence of events that result of high frequency stress waves emitted by rolling contact of the bearing, recording measurement data as recorded data, and predicting the residual life of the bearing using the recorded data and a mathematical residual life prediction model, whereby accumulated fatigue damage is determined from the measurements of the frequency of occurrence of events that result in high frequency stress waves being emitted by rolling contact of the bearing.

摘要: An active piezoelectric spindle bearing preload adjustment mechanism includes a preload adjustment assembly located between an inner ring and an outer ring of two bearings, and an internal generator mounted at a selected location in a spindle. The preload adjustment assembly includes a spacer ring set and a piezoelectric actuator located in the spacer ring set. The rotation speed of the spindle is changeable to enable the internal generator generating selected amount of power and voltage for controlling extension or contraction length of the piezoelectric actuator whereby to change slide distance between the inner and outer ring for controlling bearing preload value.

摘要: A structure of bearing journaling a geared shaft is disclosed in which a piezoelectric sensor is installed in a space between an outer ring of the bearing and its casing for detecting at least one of a force applied to the bearing and generated due to a mesh of gears, its acceleration, velocity, or displacement and outputting a detection signal according to a result of detection of the force and a piezoelectric actuator installed in the bearing so as to be in series with the piezoelectric element sensor or so as to be axially symmetrical to the opposing piezoelectric element sensor for providing an expansion and constriction movement according to a drive signal, the driving signal being based on the detection signal and having a phase opposite to the phase of the force detected by the piezoelectric element sensor.

The tank is provided with a holding material for the lubricant, the holding material having minute pores. The holding material includes a first holding portion provided in a region on an outlet-side of the tank, and a second holding portion provided in a part other than the region and having a porosity higher than that of the first holding portion.

The at least one sensor comprises an acoustic emission sensor and a temperature sensor. The method also comprises the steps of obtaining identification data uniquely identifying the bearing, transmitting data to and/or from the at least one sensor, using an industrial wireless protocol, and recording the data concerning one or more of the factors that influence the residual life of the bearing and the identification data as recorded data in a database.

摘要: An electrical solution that avoids power-up problems due to excessive power consumption during start-up of for example microcontroller based electronics. According to the invention the power consuming electronics is disconnected from a power supply until all power storage elements of the power supply are charged up to a first predetermined level. The power consuming electronics will also be disconnected when the available energy falls under a second predetermined value. This behaviour is useful when all energy is harvested from a weak energy source and the attached power consuming electronics does not work continuously.
