摘要: A medical device may comprise a flexible sheath defining a lumen extending from a proximal end of the sheath to a distal end of the sheath. The sheath may include a piston slidably received within the lumen; an agent disposed in the lumen distal to the piston; and pneumatic fluid disposed in the lumen proximal of the piston. The device may also comprise handle at a proximal end of the sheath, the handle including: a plunger received in a reservoir, wherein the reservoir is in fluid communication with the lumen. The reservoir may contain pneumatic fluid. The handle may also include a gear. An amount of rotation of the gear in a first direction may correspond to an amount that the plunger advances distally in the reservoir to displace pneumatic fluid. The displacement of the pneumatic fluid may advance the piston distally to deliver an amount of agent from the sheath.

摘要: Methods and systems for providing a flow of fluid to an endoscope. An illustrative container, manifold, and tubing set arranged and configured to couple to an endoscope may comprise a fluid container, a manifold fluidly coupled to the fluid container, and one or more tubing sets coupled to the manifold. The manifold may include an irrigation conduit for providing irrigation fluid from the fluid container to the endoscope, a lens wash chamber configured to receive liquid from the irrigation conduit. In some cases, the manifold may include a pressurized chamber and an adjustable barrier or divider between the pressurized chamber and the lens wash chamber. The adjustable barrier or divider may adjust to push liquid through an outlet in communication with the lens wash chamber in response to the pressurized chamber receiving pressurized gas.

摘要: System and methods for controlling a laser light source of a lithotripsy device to fragment or break a target object are disclosed. An exemplary system includes a controller that can perform one or more iterations of a first process and one or more iterations of a second process. The first process includes steps of selecting at least one variable operating parameter of a laser light source of a lithotripsy device; determining a value of each of a plurality of base settings of the at least one variable operating parameter selected; and selecting one of the plurality of base settings based on signals received from the target in response to laser irradiation according to the value of each of the plurality of base settings set. The second process includes controlling the laser light source based on the one of the plurality of base settings selected.

For example, an endoscopic valve of the present disclosure may include a valve stem with contiguous first and second channels and with first and second ports formed within a sidewall of the valve stem. A series of seals may be disposed around an outer surface of the valve stem proximal and distal to the first and second ports. A gating member may be slidably disposed within the proximal channel and a valve insert may be disposed between the proximal and distal channels.
