Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product aspects, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for locating a remote control. An example aspect operates by transmitting an encoded radio frequency to wake-up a proximate television remote and initiate a “find my remote” process. A passive circuit integrated within the television remote receives the transmitted encoded radio frequency signal. Once awake, the television remote may provide an indicator of location to a proximate user. Another example aspect operates by transmitting high frequency radar to a radar transponder circuit within the television remote so that it becomes visible to the radar. Once the transponder is activated, the radar may locate the television remote relative to the television and display the location of the television remote on-screen, on a mobile device screen, or other locator indicator constructs.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices that support variable modulation schemes for memory are described. A device may switch between different modulation schemes for communication based on one or more operating parameters associated with the device or a component of the device. The modulation schemes may involve amplitude modulation in which different levels of a signal represent different data values. For instance, the device may use a first modulation scheme that represents data using two levels and a second modulation scheme that represents data using four levels. In one example, the device may switch from the first modulation scheme to the second modulation scheme when bandwidth demand is high, and the device may switch from the second modulation scheme to the first modulation scheme when power conservation is in demand. The device may also, based on the operating parameter, change the frequency of the signal pulses communicated using the modulation schemes.

Abstract: A UE determines a first DCCH resource candidate in a first CORESET on a carrier, the first DCCH resource candidate including a first set of RBs. The UE also determines a first sequence of DMRSs that are mapped, starting at a reference point, to RBs in a predetermined range within the carrier in a frequency domain, the predetermined range containing the first DCCH resource candidate in the frequency domain. The UE further determines a first reference location of the first set of RBs. The UE determines, based on the first reference location, a first set of DMRSs from the first sequence of DMRSs, the first set of DMRSs being mapped to the first set of RBs. The UE obtains a channel estimation based on the first set of DMRSs; and The UE performs blind decoding of the first DCCH resource candidate based on the channel estimation.

Abstract: A tracking and rejection filter for use in a receiver of a radio includes a selectable filter configured to provide an output digital in-phase signal and an output digital quadrature signal based on a center frequency, a digital in-phase signal corresponding to an in-phase component of a received radio frequency signal, and a digital quadrature signal corresponding to a quadrature component of the received radio frequency signal. The tracking and rejection filter includes a select circuit configured to select the center frequency of the selectable filter according to whether an interfering signal is detected in a target frequency band of the received radio frequency signal. The center frequency is selected from a predetermined frequency and an estimated center frequency determined using an instantaneous frequency signal. The instantaneous frequency signal is based on the digital in-phase signal and the digital quadrature signal.

Abstract: Systems and apparatuses for wireless power transfer system are described. A receiver may send an amplitude shift key (ASK) signal to a transmitter. The transmitter may receive the ASK signal from the receiver. The transmitter may perform a demodulation on the ASK signal. The transmitter may, in response to a failure to demodulate the ASK signal, encode a notification of failure in a frequency shift key (FSK) signal. The transmitter may transmit the FSK signal to the receiver. The receiver may receive the FSK signal. The receiver may perform a function to resolve the failure to demodulate the ASK signal.

Abstract: A device for transmitting data includes a transmitter for generating a frequency-modulated output signal. The transmitter includes a phase-locked loop for adjusting an output frequency of the output signal to a carrier frequency, and a coupling circuit for coupling a data stream into the phase-locked loop. The output signal modulated in frequency by the coupled-in data stream has an output frequency variable over time, and the coupling circuit includes a compensation unit, which couples a compensation signal into the phase-locked loop. The compensation signal compensates at least approximately for an adjustment of the output frequency to the carrier frequency carried out by the phase-locked loop.
