摘要： A prefabricated electrical module and system along with fabrication and installation methods are provided. The prefab electrical module includes a circuit breaker panel casing that houses multiple circuit breakers, and a chase extending upwardly from the panel casing that stows coiled lengths of homerun wiring attached to the circuit breakers. During transport, a temporary panel casing front cover protects the panel casing front, and a forwardly protruding guard cover with an upwardly projecting hoisting handle shields the front and top of the chase and wiring. During installation, a hoisting bracket is attached at the top of the stud bay into which the prefab electrical module will be installed. A drill-powered winch is then used to lift the module to the proper height in the bay. The panel casing, chase, wiring, and breakers remain in the wall. The hoisting bracket, temporary panel casing front cover, guard cover, drill, and winch are reusable.

摘要： An indicator system for an electronic miniature circuit breaker that has tripped and therefore has no power to provide its own trip indication comprises a breaker in a tripping state and an adjacent breaker in a nontripping state, both with aligned indicator light tubes and data transmission lines or light pipes. The tripped, or tripping, breaker sends a Notice of Trip Data signal before its contacts open and its power goes out, or does so on reserve power. A neighboring breaker's transceiver receives the Notice of Trip Data signal, encodes it, and then repeats it back via an LED and indicator light tube to the tripped breaker. The trip occurrence has opened a shutter on the tripped breaker which allows it to display the repeated Notice of Trip Data signal as a visible light indication through an indicator window in its top wall.

Embodiments of furniture arrangements may utilize one or more modular furniture units to provide one or more of such features (e.g. storage, seating, privacy, work surface, lighting, etc.). In some embodiments, the modular furniture unit includes an elongated upper member having an upper slot that has a first end and a second end opposite its first end. At least one leg is attached to the first end and at least one leg is attached to the second end. The elongated upper member may have a channel through which power cabling passes and outlets that are connected to such cabling. Different elements can be connected to the upper member via the upper slot or a downward facing opening of the upper member and/or to the legs to provide different furniture arrangements.
