    Abstract: A method of providing a cryptographic algorithm firewall for an industrial control network is provided. The method includes receiving or determining a cryptographic algorithm configuration for determining which cryptographic algorithms are allowed, accessing packets flowing along a data path of the industrial control network, analyzing at least one packet of the accessed data packets to determine a cryptographic algorithm used for a network communication between two parties that is secured by application of the cryptographic algorithm, determining whether the cryptographic algorithm used for the network communication is allowed based on the received cryptographic algorithm configuration, and causing one or more actions related to the at least one packet's flow and/or the network communication in response to determining the cryptographic algorithm used for the network communication is not allowed.

    Abstract: Systems and methods for improving identification of issues associated with detecting anomalous conditions (e.g., electrical transient voltages) in electrical systems are disclosed herein. The anomalous conditions may be difficult to discern, for example, due to metering constraints of Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) responsible for identifying the anomalous conditions in the electrical systems. In one aspect of this disclosure, a method to automatically identify metering constraints of one or more IEDs in an electrical system includes capturing at least one energy-related waveform using at least one of the IEDs in the electrical system, and processing electrical measurement data from, or derived from, the at least one energy-related waveform to identify anomalous characteristics in the electrical system. The anomalous characteristics may be indicative of an anomalous condition in the electrical system, for example. In response to identifying anomalous characteristics in the electrical measurement data, an event constraint model is built based on or by using the identified anomalous characteristics. Once built, the event constraint model is analyzed to determine if the at least one energy-related waveform is being adequately captured by the at least one of the IEDs. In response to determining the at least one energy-related waveform is not adequately captured, one or more actions may be taken to address the capturing inadequacy.

    Abstract: A support for a plurality of cables includes one or more cable separator beams, each with a half-cylindrically-shaped sleeve formed on each end of each beam. A sleeve on one end of each beam is configured to align with a half-cylindrically-shaped end-cap to form an enclosed cylindrical space for passage of one of the plurality of cables. The second half-cylindrically-shaped sleeve on the other end of each beam is configured to align with the corresponding second half-cylindrically-shaped sleeve on the other of the two beams to form another enclosed cylindrical space for passage of another one of the plurality of cables. An elongated flexible fastener has a locking portion on one end thereof that fastens to a tail portion on the other end thereof, configured to surround and fasten the end caps to the beams, and the beams to each other, to secure and support the plurality of cables.

    Abstract: Techniques for managing data flowing from mission critical systems. Embodiments include receiving a plurality of data values to transmit to a remote system using a unidirectional data communications network. The data values are prioritized according to a plurality of priority levels and the prioritized plurality of data values are grouped into one or more data updates for each of the plurality of priority levels. Embodiments enqueue the one or more data updates into a respective transmission queue corresponding to each of the plurality of priority levels and transmit the data updates over the unidirectional data communications network in an order determined based on the respective priority levels of the transmission queues.

One embodiment includes receiving, at a network management system, a request to allocate a license to a first endpoint device. Embodiments select a license instance, from a plurality of license instances, to allocate to the first endpoint device, based at least in part on the real-time device metadata and state data for the first endpoint device.     Abstract: An apparatus for sensing current on a conductor of an electrical panel includes at least one sensing system, which comprises a ferromagnetic body and a sensor. The body can be formed of a ferro-magnetic material, such as for example steel. The ferromagnetic body can have two legs, which when placed on a load-side of the electrical panel, is configured to form, together with a back plane of the electrical panel, a magnetic path around the conductor. The ferromagnetic body comprises at least two parts with a first air gap therebetween along the magnetic path. The sensor, which is arranged in the first air gap, is configured to measure a current or other electrical property representative of current on the conductor based on the magnetic field across the first air gap.
