    Abstract: A network jack has a connector, a housing and a plurality of magnetic circuit elements. The connector has a first end, a second end, and at least four walls. The four walls extend from the first end to the second end in a first direction and are disposed about a bar. The bar has conductive contacts thereon and is spaced apart from the four walls. The housing has sides extending in the first direction from a top edge to a bottom panel. The housing includes an interior defined between the top edge and the bottom panel, the top edge operably coupled adjacent the second end of the connector. The plurality of leads extend from the bottom panel. The magnetic circuit elements are disposed in the interior of the housing and operably coupled to the plurality of leads and at least a first of the conductive contacts on the bar.

    Abstract: A network jack includes a connector, an outer housing, and a circuit board. The connector receives a plug for conveying Ethernet network signals. The connector includes conductive leads disposed on opposite sides of a central bar. The connector has a connector housing formed in part by a plurality of walls defining an interior, wherein the central bar is disposed in the interior, and spaced part from each of plurality of walls. The outer housing is disposed about and contains the connector housing, and has a width approximately equal to a width of a housing of the plug. The circuit board is disposed within the housing, and supports a plurality of transformers and/or common-mode chokes. The circuit board provides at least a portion of an electrical connection between the conductive leads and the transformers and/or common mode chokes.

    Abstract: A connector assembly includes: a housing having a plurality of accommodating grooves into which a plurality of terminals are insertable, respectively, and having an insertion space recessed in a first direction intersecting a second direction in which the accommodating grooves extend, the plurality of accommodating grooves being formed in one surface of the housing; a terminal position assurance (TPA) mechanism inserted into the insertion space of the housing in the first direction, having a plurality of through-holes extending parallel to the plurality of accommodating grooves, and inhibiting the terminals inserted into the through-holes from being separated; joint terminals extending from an inside of the housing to the accommodating grooves, and electrically connected to the terminals inserted into the accommodating grooves; and a noise filter fixed to the housing or the TPA mechanism, and enclosing the accommodating grooves of the housing, the through-holes of the TPA mechanism, or the joint terminals.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a telecommunications jack including a housing having a port for receiving a plug. The jack also includes a plurality of contact springs adapted to make electrical contact with the plug when the plug is inserted into the port of the housing, and a plurality of wire termination contacts for terminating wires to the jack. The jack further includes a circuit board that electrically connects the contact springs to the wire termination contacts. The circuit board includes a multi-zone crosstalk compensation arrangement for reducing crosstalk at the jack.
