摘要: In a bipolar storage battery where a positive electrode current collector plate and a negative electrode current collector plate are electrically connected in a through-hole of a substrate and a plurality of cell members are electrically connected in series, even when an electrolytic solution moves between the current collector plate and the substrate, the electrolytic solution is prevented from easily reaching the through-hole of the substrate, preventing a short circuit. At least one of a bottom surface of a recess that is a surface of a main substrate close to a positive electrode or a bottom surface of a recess that is a surface of the main substrate close to a negative electrode, the main substrate being a substrate arranged between cell members, has a ten-point average roughness (RzJIS) of between 30 μm and 104 μm, inclusive, and a maximum height roughness (Rz) of 123 μm or less.

For example, a protective layer may be interposed between the first electrode layer and the first current collector, the second electrode layer and the second current collector, the separator and the first electrode, and/or the separator and the second electrode. When activated, the one or more protective layers may reduce or interrupt current flow through the battery cell. The composition of the one or more protective layers may include one or more small molecule additives to increase its stability and conductivity, thus improving the performance as well as the safety profile of the battery cell.

摘要: A secondary battery includes an electrode assembly and an adhesive member, the adhesive member being adhered to the electrode assembly; the adhesive member includes a stacked substrate layer and a first adhesive layer, the first adhesive layer including a binder and a first resin; the first resin includes a styrene-ethylene-butene-styrene block copolymer and a butyl rubber; and based on mass of the first adhesive layer, the binder has a mass percentage of 65% to 95%, and the first resin has a mass percentage of 5% to 35%. In the secondary battery provided in this application, the first adhesive layer includes the above substances, and the percentages thereof are controlled within the scope of this application, so that the first adhesive layer has a high hardness, which facilitates removal of bubbles between the adhesive member and the electrode assembly.
