摘要: Systems and methods are provided for determining cause of atypical traffic events and/or encouraging good driving behavior. The systems and methods may involve a camera sensor and/or inertial sensors to detect traffic events, as well analytical methods that may attribute a cause to the traffic event. The systems and methods include a processor that is configured to determine an occurrence of an atypical traffic event at or near a monitored vehicle; and determine a cause of the atypical traffic event based on data collected at the monitored vehicle, wherein the cause of the atypical traffic event is at least one of: a driver or control system of the monitored vehicle; a second driver or second control system of a second vehicle; and a road condition.

摘要: A computer processing system for optimising a sequence of aircraft at an airport is disclosed. The system comprises a module (201) configured to receive flight plan data associated with a plurality of journeys between an origin and destination wherein each journey is associated with a different aircraft and wherein the flight plan data comprises flight schedule data associated with the plurality of different journeys; a second module (205) coupled to the first module wherein the second module is configured to determine an aircraft taxi time, EXOT, based on the flight plan data; a third module (203) coupled to the first module (201) and the second module (205) wherein the third module (203) is configured to determine a target take-off time, TTOT, associated with each of the plurality of different journeys wherein the target take-off time is determined based on the taxi time, EXOT, and the flight plan data.

摘要: Methods and apparatus are provided for generating a runway landing alert for an aircraft. The method comprises establishing a Runway Awareness Advisory System (RAAS) envelope for the designated target runway of the aircraft. A track of the aircraft is monitored with reference to a centerline of the target runway. Any deviation by the aircraft from the centerline of the target runway is detected and determined if it is within a margin of error. If the deviation is within the margin of error, an altitude parameter of the RAAS envelope is increased. If the aircraft is determined to still be maneuvering with respect to the centerline of the target runway, the altitude parameter of the RAAS envelope is decreased. Otherwise, an alert is generated if the aircraft is outside of the RAAS envelope.

摘要: Disclosed are an apparatus and method for controlling an oil pump for a vehicle which may control the speed of the oil pump. The apparatus includes a controller configured to control the speed of the oil pump based on the temperature information of a motor and oil and the speed and torque information of the motor, and, when the vehicle is being driven, the controller confirms whether or not a motor or oil temperature is higher than or equal to a first set temperature, controls the speed of the oil pump to a maximum speed value when the motor or oil temperature is higher than or equal to the first set temperature, and calculates a control speed value and controls the speed of the oil pump to the calculated control speed value when the motor or oil temperature is lower than the first set temperature.

The UAV may also include a flight control system (FCS) coupled to the UAV body assembly. The UAV may further include a motor coupled to the UAV body assembly at one end and coupled to a propeller at the other end. The FCS is communicatively connected to the motor. A center of gravity (CG) of the UAV is at a point between 21% and 25% of a mean aerodynamic chord (MAC) of the UAV.

摘要: A smart refueling service for vehicles which predicts when a vehicle will need refueling based on vehicle sensors and historical and/or predictive information. When analysis indicates the vehicle has insufficient fuel to reach a destination, and there are no refueling stations along the route, a drone is dispatched to refuel the vehicle. The service is a subscription service which registers and authenticates a vehicle and monitors the vehicle based on user preferences. The user preferences may be to refuel at a desired time of day, day of the week or at a desired location.

摘要: A system includes a network of a plurality of sensing/control/identification devices distributed throughout a machine, each of the sensing/control/identification devices associated with at least one sub-system component of the machine and operable to communicate through a plurality of electromagnetic signals. Shielding surrounds at least one of the sensing/control/identification devices to contain the electromagnetic signals proximate to the at least one sub-system component. A communication path is integrally formed in a component of the machine to route a portion of the electromagnetic signals through the component and a remote processing unit operable to communicate with the network of the sensing/control/identification devices through the electromagnetic signals, wherein at least a portion of the sensing/control/identification devices comprise a wide band gap semiconductor device and wherein at least a portion of the sensing/control/identification devices comprise an on-chip antenna.

An engine out NOx amount for at least one cylinder is determined at least in part in response to the exhaust manifold pressure measurement and a brake mean effective pressure of the at least one cylinder. An operating condition of the engine is adjusted in response to the engine out NOx amount.
