Each of the first support portion and the second support portion is formed from magnetic material. The guide member is held between the first support portion and the second support portion by magnetic attraction force generated between the first support portion and the second support portion.

Moving ranges of the first and second lens units overlap each other in the optical axis direction by a predetermined amount. The second holding member includes a biasing member. The lens barrel has a first state for restricting driving of the driving unit, and a second state for permitting driving of the driving unit. The processor determines whether the lens barrel is in the first or second state, using an output result from the first output unit.
