摘要: Method and apparatus are disclosed for vehicle cabin odor detection and amelioration. An example vehicle includes an array of chemical sensors, a spectrograph, and an environmental control system. The example environmental control system generates a spectrum, with the spectrograph, of chemical components of volatilomes in air inside a cabin and classifies the volatilomes based on the spectrum, measurements from the array of chemical sensors, and occupant preferences. Additionally, the environmental control system, when the volatilomes are indicative of an offensive scent, applies a mitigation strategy to affect the composition of the air in the cabin.

摘要: An air conditioner including a first filter; a second filter located downstream of the first filter; a dust amount sensor located upstream of the first filter and having a hole through which dust passes, the dust amount sensor configured to transmit, per unit of time, each of a first total, which is an amount of dust in a first size range, and a second total, which is an amount of dust in a second size range smaller than the first size range, of the dust passing through the hole; and a controller configured to output a service signal for the first filter if the accumulated value of the first total transmitted from the dust amount sensor exceeds a first set value, and output a service signal for the second filter if the accumulated value of the second total transmitted from the dust amount sensor exceeds a second set value.

摘要: A system for delivering a volatile composition into the air is provided. The system includes a central communication unit capable of receiving incoming signals and sending outgoing instructions. The central communication unit is communicably connected with a memory configured to store an algorithm. The system includes a smart appliance communicably connectable with the central communication unit and configured to send incoming signals to the central communication unit alerting the central communication unit of a status of the smart appliance. The system also includes a volatile composition dispenser that is communicably connectable with the central communication through a wireless communication link. The algorithm controls the volatile composition dispenser based on incoming signals sent from the smart appliance to the central communication unit.

摘要: A ventilation device for supplying air to a clean room having a passage duct (16) with a waste air inlet (13) for receiving waste air form the room and a supply air outlet (14) for discharging supply air (34) to the room. A speed controllable rotatable fan (49) is provided in the passage duct (16) for conveying air from a suction chamber (47) coupled to the waste air inlet (13) to a pressure chamber (48) coupled to the supply air outlet (14). An outside air duct (22) is provided for receiving outside air (27) which is emitted into the passage duct (16), and an exhaust air duct (28) is provided for receiving a part of the waste air (32) extracted from the room for exhaust to the outside. First and second air flow regulators (36, 37) are provided in the respective air ducts (22, 28), and a control unit (68) is provided for controlling operation of the air flow regulators (36, 37) and the rotational speed of the fan (49).

An air-cleaning device (100) includes: a first determination unit (11) that determines, from a detection signal from a person detection sensor (31), whether a state of an air-cleaning target room is at least any of a state where a person is absent in the air-cleaning target room, a state where a person is present and a motion amount is small, and a state where a person is present and the motion amount is large; a second determination unit (12) that determines, from a detection signal from as illuminance sensor (32), whether the state of the air-cleaning target room is at least any of a state where it is bright inside the air-cleaning target room and a state where it is dark inside the air-cleaning target room; and an operation control unit (13) that controls an operation of an air-cleaning function by using determination results of the first determination unit (11) and the second determination unit (12).

摘要: In various embodiments, an air quality-monitoring system (100) may include at least one sensor (106) configured to detect operation of a mechanism (110) within or at a boundary of an indoor environment. The mechanism may be external to an air purifier (102) associated with the indoor environment. The system may include a persistent memory (124) for storing data about the indoor environment observed by the at least one sensor (106). A controller (104) may be communicatively coupled with the at least one sensor and configured to: assemble the data into an air quality profile associated with that environment; determine, based on a signal from the at least one sensor and on the air quality profile, a likelihood that operation of the mechanism will cause a measure of air quality within the indoor environment to fail one or more air quality criteria; and selectively provide, based on the likelihood, an indication that operation of the mechanism will cause the measure of air quality within the indoor environment to fail the one or more air quality criteria.
