Abstract:
A device for cooking food products by heat treatment comprises a housing and also a hinged lid connected to said housing by means of universal pivotable fastening devices. Electric heating elements are mounted inside the housing and on the inner side of the hinged lid, and control panels for controlling the electric heating elements are disposed on a lateral side of the housing and on the hinged lid. The device can contain two hinged lids which can be lifted away from the housing simultaneously or individually and are capable of pivoting through 90°, 180° or 270°.
Abstract:
Described herein is a device that will restrict the radiant heat from transferring all around a patio heater and instead will effectively focus, deflect and/or reflect radiant and convective heat from a patio heater toward a desired direction. By focusing the heat toward one direction, heat is not lost to the unoccupied direction where no persons are lounging. Rather, more of the heat is directed toward the people and thus the heater operates more efficiently.
Abstract:
A system and method for utilizing corner-cube reflector technology for irradiation control in direct radiant heating systems is described. The system and method has application in many types of direct irradiation heating systems and is applicable to both narrowband or broadband directed irradiation heating systems. The purpose and result of the implementation is to improve the overall system efficiency through the redirection of photons back to a targeted item which is being heated or treated with the irradiation energy.
Abstract:
A heating appliance includes a housing defining a food product compartment having at least a front door and a rear wall opposite the front door. The heating appliance also includes a rack configured to support a food product within the food product compartment. The heating appliance also includes a heating assembly disposed within the food product compartment and an elongate heating device having a first length, and an angled heat distribution member having a second length disposed between the heating device and the rack. The heat distribution member includes a pattern of apertures and the heat distribution member is configured to prevent infrared radiation produced by the heating device from directly reaching the rear wall of the housing, except for infrared radiation that passes through the apertures of the heat distribution member.
Abstract:
A collapsible radiative heater assembly is disclosed that may be configured to save space and protect sensitive mechanisms of the heater. The collapsible heater may include a burner unit, a body and a hollow collapsible neck. The body may further comprise a receiving device that includes a first locking mechanism and a second locking mechanism for the hollow collapsible neck. The assembly may also include a protective casing that is attached detachably to the body in order to protect components of the assembly during transport or storage.
Abstract:
A circular air flow pattern is created in a small oven cavity having a convection system including a convection cover which is mounted to and defines a duct in combination with a rear wall of the oven cavity. The convection cover includes an intake at one end portion arranged adjacent a first side wall of the oven cavity and a plurality of exhaust openings formed in another end portion arranged adjacent a second side wall of the oven cavity, with the convection cover progressively tapering through multiple sections. The rear wall can include an elongated recess over which the convection cover extends in forming the duct.
Abstract:
A broiler reflector is provided between an upper wall of a cooking cavity of a residential oven and a broiler heating element. The broiler reflector helps to direct radiant heat energy emitted upward from the broiler heating element downward towards food items located beneath the broiler heating element. The shape of the broiler reflector helps to ensure that a sufficient amount of the radiant energy is directed to the front and rear portions of an underlying rack to ensure even cooking and even browning. The broiler reflector can include a front reflecting portion and a rear reflecting portion, each of which include first and second reflectors.
Abstract:
An oven appliance includes a baking stone positioned within a housing at a bottom portion of a cooking chamber. A baffle is positioned within the housing below a lower heating element array. The baffle includes an upper plate and a lower plate. Holes of the upper plate are offset from holes of the lower plate. The holes of the lower plate are contiguous with a regulating air duct of the housing such that a flow of air enters the baffle through the holes of the lower plate. Regulating air exits the holes of the upper plate and is impinged onto a bottom surface of the baking stone in a pattern to regulate baking stone temperature.
Abstract:
An electric stove includes an electric heating element arranged at a distance from a position right below a target to be heated. A first mirror surface portion is arranged to surround the electric heating element and configured to reflect heat rays radiated from the electric heating elements. A second mirror surface portion is arranged below the electric heating elements and configured to collect the heat rays reflected by the first mirror surface portion to a side below the target by reflecting the heat rays substantially immediately upwardly. The first mirror surface portion includes a plurality of partial elliptical mirror surface portions having one focus near the electric heating elements and the other focus below the electric heating elements, and the second mirror surface portion includes a partial elliptical mirror surface portion a having one focus near the electric heating elements and the other focus below the electric heating elements.
Abstract:
At least two radiation members are each powered by an energy source. A reflective member includes an at least partially ring-shaped concave reflective surface facing at least one radiation member which includes an at least partial ring shape for distributing energy to an at least partially ring-shaped zone. At least one other radiation member includes a lamp base assembly for being received in a lamp socket assembly, to provide illumination or other forms of radiation, with concentration in a focal zone. A remote control and switch apparatus or radiation scanning and detection control and switch apparatus is provided, for control of remote power activation, the radiation members and for activating, varying, modifying and/or controlling, optimizing, maximizing, minimizing or otherwise altering the complete or partial constructive interference and/or the complete or partial destructive interference of the electromagnetic radiation emitted from the respective radiation sources of the radiator.
