摘要: The invention relates to a task light apparatus for use in low light or low glare environments in all types of working environments including air traffic control towers and vehicles such as seagoing vessels, aircraft or land vehicles. The task lighting apparatus uses LEDs and has multiple, independently dimmable wash and spot light modes. The task lighting apparatus has a fully adjustable and balanced arm that allows the light head of the apparatus to be adjusted to a variety of positions while maintaining the light head's horizontal orientation to ensure light emitted from the light head is only emitted in a vertical downward direction.

摘要: A through-hull light for a marine vessel is provided. The light includes a body for mounting on the outer surface of a hull, having an outer side facing water and an inner side for mounting against the hull; a chamber formed within the body having a transparent screen mounted at an outer side; a shaft for extending from the inner side through an aperture in the hull; LEDs mounted within the chamber in parallel rows and arranged to be horizontal when the light is mounted through the hull, with each LED mounted to direct light out of the chamber in a first direction perpendicular to the inner side; a reflecting structure within the chamber having a plurality of reflectors positioned above or below a row of LEDS and parallel therewith, with each reflector formed to reflect light away at a fixed angle vertically from the first direction.

A lateral control motor urges the illumination element left or right. A joystick input provides manual directional control of the vertical motor and lateral motor. A MEMS gyroscope or similar microelectronic controller provides an automated control input that, when activated, provides a continuous control signal for providing vertical and lateral motor control based upon a target set point selected by the user.

摘要: An antifouling system for reducing and/or preventing fouling of an object exposed to fouling conditions when in use, comprising a plurality of antifouling devices (26) for providing an antifouling radiation to at least part of the object and/or at least part of the antifouling system; wherein the antifouling system further comprises: —a power transmission system comprising: —an inductive power emitter (10) comprising at least one inductive emitter element (12); and —a plurality of inductive power receivers (24) each one comprising at least one inductive receiver element; wherein the inductive power emitter and the plurality of inductive power receivers are for mounting on the object in a fixed configuration with respect to each other thereby to provide an inductive coupling between each one of the at least one inductive receiver elements and the at least one inductive emitter element such that power may be inductively transmitted when the power transmission system is in use; and wherein the plurality of antifouling devices (26) are configured to be driven using transmitted power from at least one of the plurality of inductive power receivers when the system is in use.

摘要: Navigational running light retrofit system comprises a position tube that is inserted into a U.S. Naval specified navigational running light fixture and is further positioned, aligned and sealed using existing elements of the navigational running light fixture being retrofit. The positioning tube, having a generally tubular form, is a receiver for a commercially available LED navigational running light having cylindrical form. LED navigational running light is modified to secure a plate to the top surface of the assembly. This stabilizer plate has a similar diameter to the inner housing of the navigational running light fixture being retrofit, whereby stabilizing the retrofit system assembly when subjected to extreme mechanical shock. The positioning elements of the navigational running light retrofit system cooperate with the elements of the navigational running light fixture being retrofit to align and maintain alignment of the light exiting the fixture at the direction and angle.

摘要: A pole light and base system that includes a pole light base configured to be secured to a gunwale of a watercraft. In practice, the pole light base might include a pole light tube and a female Universal Serial Bus connector. The pole light tube may have electrical contacts configured to engage respective electrical contacting portions of an all around light pole if an all around light pole is inserted into the pole light tube. In some cases, the system might include the all around light pole and light. The electrical contacts of the tube might include a positive contact electrically coupled to a first wire and a negative contact electrically coupled to a second wire. The first and second wire may be designed to connect directly to a 12 Volt watercraft battery. They may also connect to a boat fuse box that is connected to a battery. Similarly, the female USB connector can be electrically connected to a printed circuit board that includes transforming components capable of transforming 12 Volt power from a watercraft battery into a lower voltage, such as 5 volt, that is made available via the female USB-A connector.
