摘要： A connection assembly for a well comprises first and second tubular, one of which is adapted to connect to the well, the first tubular having a bore adapted to receive the second tubular. The first and second tubulars lock together, and have first and second seals compressed between an outer surface of the second tubular and an inner surface of the first tubular to create a fluid chamber. The second seal is axially and radially spaced from the first seal. A hydraulic pressure system is adapted to drive hydraulic fluid into the fluid chamber to urge the second tubular out of the first tubular when the first and second seals are compressed between the first and second tubulars. A method of making connections is also disclosed.

摘要： A pipe may include a pipe body having an axis, an axial bore and a pipe body outer diameter. A male end may be formed on the pipe body. The male end can have an outer diameter consistent with the pipe body outer diameter, and an axial end face. A female end may be formed as an integral bell on the pipe body opposite the male end. The female end may have an inner diameter that is larger than the outer diameter of the male end, a seal recess on an interior thereof, and an interior feature in the interior of the female end that is complementary to the axial end face of the male end. The female end of a first pipe may be configured to receive the male end of a second pipe, such that the interior feature of the first pipe engages and restrains the axial end face of the second pipe. A coupling may be used to join two of the pipes.

摘要： A mating connection assembly permits quick and efficient connection and disconnection of tubular goods and equipment. A female box-end connection member has a body, a central through-bore, a bowl-like receptacle section having a tapered internal surface and inwardly-extending load shoulder members along the tapered internal surface, grouped in stacks of spaced-apart rows. A mating male pin-end connection member has a body section, a tapered pin extension, a central through-bore and lug members on the outer surface of the tapered pin extension. The tapered pin extension of the male pin-end connection member can be stabbed into the female box-end connection member and partially rotated. When joined in mating relationship, the connection assembly provides a fluid pressure seal, supports high-tensile axial loading and permits the transmission of torque through the connection assembly.
