    摘要: A method of calibrating a solenoid operated pressure control valve by sweeping the solenoid with increasing current from a minimum to a maximum and measuring and recording the signal pressure output and current at selected increments of current and storing the data pairs in a first table. The solenoid is similarly swept with decreasing current from the maximum to a minimum and the signal output pressure measured at selected increments of current and the data pairs stored in a second table. Upon installation of the valve in an hydraulic system to be controlled, the commanded signal pressure output Pc, if greater than the instantaneous signal pressure output P2 is compared with the closest data pairs in the first table and, by interpolation, the required solenoid energization current Ie determined. If the commanded signal pressure output Pc is less than the instantaneous signal pressure P2 is compared with the closest data pair in the second table and, by interpolation, the required solenoid energization current Ie determined.

    摘要: An improved assembly for use in an in-line starter valve. A flexible material system in the form of a flexible belt is used to translate motion from a manually operable wrench shaft to a piston rod in order to render an in-line starter valve to a closed, partially opened, or an extreme opened position. When the wrench shaft is manually rotated, tension is imparted on the flexible band which, in turn, translates tension to a piston rod which then travels longitudinally resulting in the opening or closing of the in-line starter valve. An index mark on a handle of the wrench shaft indicates the closed, partially opened, or extreme opened position of the in-line starter valve. The use of the flexible belt affords greater durability, less weight, and less costly production than the prior art assemblies.

    摘要: A normally closed electromagnetic valve is closed again after temporarily being opened during an abnormality check of the valve. When the valve is opened, electricity is supplied so that a plunger is moved by a coil but a back face of the plunger does not abut against a receiving face of a fixed portion. Because the plunger does not strike the fixed portion, no impact noise is generated. Also, when the valve is closed, the electricity is not instantly dropped to zero, but is gradually reduced. As a result, impact noise when the valve strikes the valve seat is able to be reduced.

The damper system utilizes current designs of the iris damper and incorporates a sealing plug positioned in the open circular cross-section of the iris damper. The sealing groove and sealing gaskets provide a positive seal about the sealing plug when the iris blades are in the closed position.
