    摘要: Disclosed herein is a rotation transmitting device which permits the transmission of rotation with a reduced play and which permits the constituents to be aligned easily. The rotation transmitting device has a transmitting member (30) which surrounds a rotating part (12) of a drive shaft (11) and a rotating part (22) of a driven shaft (21). At least either the rotating part (12) of the drive shaft (11) or the rotating part (22) of the driven shaft (21) has an external surface that comes into contact with the internal surface of the transmitting member (30) so that friction arising between the internal surface and the external surface achieves torque transmission and reception to and from the transmitting member (30).

    摘要: A variable speed transmission device including a torque variator of the type in which a first rotatable element is in rolling friction engagement with a second nutatable element having an axis movable in a biconical path about the axis of the first element. The first element supports a pair of axially movable cone-like members fixed for rotation with the first element and each having exterior surfaces of revolution defined by a curved generatrix to be convex in axial section and converging away from a point of first and second element axes intersection. The rolling friction surfaces of the second element are defined by interior cylindrical surfaces on a tube-like member and means are provided for adjusting the angle of the second element axis with respect to the first to vary the radii at the point of frictional contact on the cone-like members. A third element rotatable on the first axis extends through the tube-like second member and is cut away to enable the frictional engagement of surfaces on the cone-like members with the internal surfaces of the second element. The third element carries adjustably eccentric journals having fluid control means operable in diammetrically opposite directions to vary the angle at which the axis of the second element intersects the axis of the first element. Input torque is preferably provided by a clutch to the third element whereas the variable speed output of the variator is transmitted through a multi-speed shiftable gear train.

    摘要: A friction-type stepless speed change device includes a frictional transmission elements composed of a pair of driving discs connected to an input shaft, and an annular driven disc connected to an output shaft and embraced between and urged against opposite conical surfaces of the driving discs into wedge-engagement to generate frictional force and allow power transmission from the driving discs to the driven disc. The driving discs are at a variable eccentricity relative to the driven disc, with which an effective pitch diameter of the driving discs is varied to effect a stepless speed change. For reducing the size of the frictional transmission elements while preserving a required torque capacity, the device further comprises a driving rotary unit for transmitting power from the input shaft to the driving discs at an increased rotational speed, and a driven rotary unit for transmitting power from the driven disc to the output shaft at a reduced rotational speed.

    摘要: A friction drive wherein two substantially coaxial wheel disks support a respective friction ring having substantially conical friction surfaces. One of the wheel disks is connected with a drive shaft and the other wheel disk with a power take-off shaft. A rim of similar transmission mechanisms is arranged substantially coaxially with respect to the friction rings. Each transmission mechanism comprises transmission means and guide means for said transmission means. Each transmission means possesses substantially spherical transmission surfaces maintained in frictional contact with an associated one of the friction surfaces of the friction rings. An adjustment mechanism serves for the common and uniform pivoting of all of the transmission mechanisms in axial planes of the wheel disks for the infinite regulation of the transmission ratio of the friction drive. The adjustment mechanism comprises a rotatable plate member provided with control slot means inclined at a substantially uniform angle to a radius and controlling the guide means of all the transmission mechanisms. The transmission means embodying two substantially spherical section-shaped friction heads having uninterrupted external surfaces defining the transmission surfaces and a respective shaft portion mounted at each friction head. The shaft portions are mounted in a bearing sleeve. A pair of disk members is fixedly mounted in the drive housing. One of these disk members supports all of the bearing sleeves and the other of the disk members guides such bearing sleeves during the adjustment in the axial planes. The rotatable plate member of the adjustment mechanism and the two fixedly mounted plate members are arranged at a spacing adjacent one another between the friction head situated at the one wheel disk and the friction head situated at the other wheel disk.
