    摘要: Systems and methods related to linear turbine systems are presented. Each embodiment described herein may be designed as a single-stage, linear, impulse turbine system. In an embodiment, a linear turbine includes a first shaft extending along a first axis; a second shaft extending along a second axis, the second axis being separated from and substantially parallel to the first axis; a first plurality of buckets to travel a first continuous path around the first shaft and the second shaft along a first plane, the first path including a first substantially linear path segment between the first axis and the second axis; and a nozzle configured to direct a first fluid jet to contact the first plurality of buckets in the first linear path segment.

    摘要: A hydraulic-circulation powered engine includes: a housing, defining a chamber inside; a rotating disk, a periphery thereof configured with a plurality of sequentially arranged driven elements, the rotating disk configured inside the chamber, and a rotating shaft outputting power configured on a shaft center of the rotating disk and extended out of the housing; a plurality of nozzles, configured on the chamber, and sequentially arranged outside the periphery of the rotating disk, allowing the nozzles to face the driven elements; a liquid pressurizing driver, configured with liquid outlet in communication with the nozzles; and a power supply, in electric connection with the liquid pressurizing driver, allowing the liquid pressurizing driver to be driven to output liquid to each nozzle, thereby ejecting liquid toward the driven elements configured on the periphery of the rotating disk so as to drive the driven elements to turn the rotating disk and rotating shaft.

    摘要: In a Energy Transfer and Recycling Open-Closed Hybrid System, the combination comprising an outer sphere, an inner sphere located within and movable relative to the outer sphere, a shaft attached to the inner sphere, impulse generating means operatively connected to the inner sphere, and generating impulses, and springs located to transmit the impulses via the shaft to the outer sphere. Both spheres are partially filled with liquid, and partially filled with compressed air. The inner sphere is in liquid communication with the outer sphere, such that liquid within the space between the inner and outer spheres can flow into the interior of the inner sphere. The inner sphere includes jet impulse devices bolted to the equator. Rotation of the system causes liquid in liquid-delivery spiraling hoses in the northern hemisphere of the inner sphere to drop to the bottom of the inner sphere and to pass through liquid-conduits to be delivered to the jet impulse devices, in order to be ejected as reaction-mass into the space between the inner sphere and the outer sphere. The ejected reaction-mass can exert a vertical or horizontal force on the inner sphere, which imparts motion to the outer sphere by means of springs located to transmit the impulses via the shaft to the outer sphere, for transferring and recycling energy.

    摘要: A diaphragm for a steam turbine is disclosed that has at least one arc of admission. The arc of admission has a plurality of nozzles arranged about the circumference of the diaphragm and are configured to eject a working fluid at succeeding rotor blades axially-spaced from the diaphragm. The flow area of the first few nozzle vanes in the arc of admission is gradually increased along the arcuate length of the diaphragm, thereby mitigating the load impulse absorbed by each rotor blade as it enters the arc of admission. The flow area of the last few nozzle vanes in the arc of admission is gradually decreased so that each rotor blade does not suddenly go from full load impulse to zero and thereby contribute to the fatigue of the rotor blade and create unwanted noise.
