    摘要: A subterranean energy storage system configured to store and subsequently release potential energy. Storage of potential energy is achieved by the transfer of a pseudo fluid from a first storage tank to a second storage tank located above the first storage tank, and is subsequently released by the transfer of the pseudo fluid from the second storage tank to the first storage tank. To transfer the pseudo fluid between the first and second storage tanks, the subterranean energy storage system comprises at least one continuous conveyor mechanism extending through at least one transport shaft, wherein the at least one continuous conveyor mechanism comprises a plurality of vessels arranged along a length of the continuous conveyor mechanism. The subterranean energy storage system further comprises an energy transfer means operably connected to the at least one continuous conveyor mechanism to transfer power to and from the subterranean energy storage system.

    摘要: Systems and methods related to linear turbine systems are presented. Each embodiment described herein may be designed as a single-stage, linear, impulse turbine system. In an embodiment, a linear turbine includes a first shaft extending along a first axis; a second shaft extending along a second axis, the second axis being separated from and substantially parallel to the first axis; a first plurality of buckets to travel a first continuous path around the first shaft and the second shaft along a first plane, the first path including a first substantially linear path segment between the first axis and the second axis; and a nozzle configured to direct a first fluid jet to contact the first plurality of buckets in the first linear path segment.

A travel belt 4 travels with respect to an insulation wall (3) due to a total buoyancy difference (F1−F2) between the total buoyancy (F1) of the buoyancy of the volume variable container (11) and the total buoyancy (F2) of the buoyancy of the volume variable container (12).

    摘要: An electrical power producing wind turbine eliminates the possibility of being struck by lightning, reduces the complexity of gear trains and simplifies maintenance at heights. The wind turbine is electrically isolated from ground to reduce the possibility of being struck by lightning and the generator is located at ground level to simplify maintenance. The turbine blade shaft is directly attached to a hydraulic pump. The hydraulic fluid is transmitted to ground level through dielectric tubing and acts both as an electrical isolating medium and a transmitter of mechanical energy to the generator located at ground level. The wind turbine blade, shaft and hydraulic pump are electrically isolated from the support structure at the upper end.

    摘要: A buoyancy engine and compression device having a plurality of rotating flexible chains formed of individual segments, each having a plurality of compressible flotation members engaged thereon. The chains rotate around axises at upper and lower frames. The flotation members are alternately compressed and expanded during rotation around the upper and lower frames during passage through an angled pathway defined by paired planar members in an angled engagement which rotate in time with the chain and engaged flotation members. Expanded flotation members circumventing the lower frame produce upward thrust as a function of their dimension and displacement of water. Mechanical energy from the system may be harnessed by conventional mechanical engagement of the rotating flexible chains or segments forming the upper and lower frames.
