摘要: There are described methods and systems for supplying water to an aircraft. A water supply assembly is fluidly coupled to a water storage tank via a supply line. An overflow line is fluidly coupled to the water supply assembly. One or more sensors are configured to determine an amount of water in the water storage tank. One or more processors are communicative with the one or more sensors and configured to: determine a desired amount of water to be contained in the water storage tank; determine from the one or more sensors that an amount of water in the water storage tank corresponds to the desired amount of water; and, in response to determining that the amount of water in the water storage tank corresponds to the desired amount of water, transmit an instruction for causing water being supplied from the water supply assembly to the water storage tank to be diverted to the overflow line.

摘要: There is disclosed a system for cooling a water-cooled apparatus having a water inlet and a water outlet. The system has: a circuit in fluid communication with the water inlet and the water outlet, the circuit having a valve upstream of the water inlet connected to a source of water, and an outlet in fluid communication with a sewer; an air-cooled cooling unit in heat exchange relationship with water in the circuit; and a pump fluidly connected to the circuit; the system operable between a closed-loop configuration and an open configuration, the valve being closed and the pump circulating water between the water-cooled apparatus and the air-cooled cooling unit in the closed-loop configuration, and the valve being open and water in the circuit circulating from the source of water, through the water-cooled apparatus, and to the sewer in the open configuration.

摘要: The present invention relates to a multi-purpose water tank, and more specifically to a multi-purpose water tank, which enables water accommodated in the water tank and a liquid chemical to be effectively agitated when the liquid chemical is mixed with the water, which can prevent an agitated liquid discharged from the water tank from including impurities, thereby preventing an obstruction phenomenon when a sprinkler and a high-pressure spray nozzle are used, which enables a filtering rod installed inside the water tank and configured to filter out impurities to be separated, thereby facilitating the maintenance and repair of the filtering rod, and which enables impurities accumulated inside the water tank to be effectively discharged along with a small amount of water, thereby enabling the clean state of the water tank to be maintained.

摘要: An inlet stratification device for providing and maintaining stratification of a fluid in a tank. The stratification device includes a pipe of a flexible non-porous material, having a number of holes, with the pipe configured to contract and expand such that exchange of fluid through the holes of the pipe is substantially prevented in regions of the pipe where the temperature of the fluid inside the pipe is higher than the temperature of the fluid outside of the pipe.

摘要: A tank has a circumferential wall defined by a plurality of separate elements in the form of vertical staves. Adjacent elements are shaped so that they are squeezed together to prevent leakage past adjacent elements. Hoops surround the wall elements. One hoop is a plurality of segments. Truss rods connect separate elements of the hoop to a support inside the tank. The truss rods of the hoop connect the hoop segments to the inside support in the tank and are tightened thereto for drawing the hoop wall elements inward to the truss rod supports, squeezing the adjacent wall elements together for preventing leakage between adjacent elements. A divider across the tank has the supports thereon for receiving the ends of the truss rods in the tank. Other staves define a divider of staves. Vertical beams support them.
