摘要： Compounds of the formula ##STR1## in which A-X- is the radical of a diazo component,X- is ortho to the azo group and is a metallizable substituent or a substituent convertible to a metallizable group,Y is --OH or --NH.sub.2,Z is methyl or carboxy,R is hydrogen, halo, methyl or sulfo, andB is the radical of a coupling component of the heterocyclic, non-cyclic active methylene or monocyclic benzene series, which coupling component of the monocyclic benzene series contains an amino and/or hydroxy group, which group(s) may be alkylated or acylated, and --N.dbd.N--B is bound to the 3- or 4-position of ring D, which comounds contain at least one water-solubilizing group, and metal complexes thereof, with the proviso that when the compounds are unmetallized, B is other than a monocyclic benzene coupling component radical. The metal complexes are useful as dyes for the dyeing and printing of anionic dyeable substrates such as natural and regenerated cellulose, natural and synthetic polyamides, polypropylene modified to contain basic groups, polyurethanes, anodized aluminum, sized paper and leather.

The compounds wherein R.sub.2 and R.sub.3 are other than hydroxy are also useful as disperse dyes for high molecular weight hydrophobic substrates such as polyesters, cellulose acetates and synthetic polyamides. These dyeings exhibit good fastness to light, sublimation, washing, solvents, rubbing, gas fumes, reduction and chlorine.

摘要： The invention relates to aminoazo compounds of the formula I ##STR1## in which X and Y are identical or different and denote hydrogen, chlorine, bromine, methyl, methoxy, ethoxy, nitro, trifluoromethyl, carbomethoxy or carboethoxy, A represents hydrogen, methyl or ethyl, and Z in the 6- or 7-position of the heteroaromatic ring system is hydrogen, chlorine or bromine, methyl, methoxy, ethoxy, carbomethoxy, carboethoxy or nitro.The compounds of the formula I are prepared by coupling a monodiazotized p-diaminobenzene substituted by X and Y analogously to the formula I with a 5-acetoacetylaminobenzimidazolone which carries the radicals A and Z analogously to the formula I. In the case where X, Y or Z does not denote a nitro group, it is possible to use in place of the p-diaminobenzene derivative a p-aminonitrobenzene derivative which is disubstituted by X and Y in the 2- and 5-positions. In this case, the product after diazotization and coupling is initially a nitro compound which can be converted by reduction into the aminoazo compound of the formula I.The aminoazo compounds are used as starting materials for preparing disazo compounds, preferably disazo pigments, through diazotization in conventional manner and coupling onto compounds which are capable of coupling, for example onto 5-acetoacetylaminobenzimidazolones. The disazo pigments are distinguished by high tinctorial strength, excellent fastness to solvents and migration, and high thermostability.

摘要： Bleed-fast, dyed cellulosics particularly absorbent papers have been obtained with a particular class of water-soluble, cationic dyes reacted with a water-soluble dialdehyde, preferably glyoxal or glutaraldehyde. An aqueous printing fluid containing the water-soluble cationic dye and the dialdehyde, upon drying, produces a water-resistant dyestuff having improved bleed fastness upon cellulosic fibers.
