    摘要: A functionalized active-nucleus complex sensor that selectively associates with one or more target species. The functionalized active-nucleus complex comprises an active-nucleus and a targeting carrier. The targeting carrier comprises a first binding region having at least a minimal transient binding of the active-nucleus to form the functionalized active-nucleus complex that produces a detectable signal when the functionalized active-nucleus complex associates with the target species and a second binding region that selectively associates with the target species. Included is a method for assaying and screening for one or a plurality of target species utilizing one or a plurality of functionalized active-nucleus complexes with at least two of the functionalized active-nucleus complexes having an attraction affinity to different corresponding target species. The method comprises the steps of functionalizing an active-nucleus, for each functionalized active-nucleus complex, by incorporating the active-nucleus into a macromolucular or molecular complex that is capable of binding one of the target species. Then bringing the macromolecular or molecular complexes into contact with the target species and detecting the occurrence of or change in a nuclear magnetic resonance signal from each of the active-nuclei in each of the functionalized active-nucleus complexes in order to either monitor the occurrence of binding between each of the functionalized active-nucleus complexes and the target species or monitor a subsequent change in the environment of the target species after the binding occurs.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a process for efficiently producing quadricyclane by the conversion of norbornadiene. A sensitizer, such as a substituted diaminobenzophenone having a solubility in norbornadiene greater than that of Michler's Ketone, may be added to the norbornadiene to form a solution, wherein the sensitizer decreases the induction period at the beginning of the reaction, increases the photon or quantum efficiency of conversion of norbornadiene to quadricyclane, and increases the rate of conversion at the end of the reaction. The solution may be irradiated with light from a metal halide-doped mercury arc lamp and filtered through a sharp cut-off filter to render photochemical transformation of norbornadiene to quadricyclane more efficient than when other light sources are utilized. Furthermore, the addition of a base to the solution tends to result in the formation of fewer by-products in the transformation reaction.

    摘要: The present invention is a method for recycling an organometallic compound for MOCVD comprising extracting an unreacted organometallic compound from a used raw material which has undergone a thin film production process, wherein the unreacted organometallic compound is extracted after the used raw material is subjected to a reforming treatment. The method for reforming the used raw material is either a method for contacting the used raw material with a hydrogenation catalyst or a reducing agent or a method for contacting the used raw material with either a halogen, a hydrogen halide, an inorganic acid, an alkene, or a diene. In this case, an organometallic compound of higher purity can be obtained through this recycling method by contacting the used raw material with a decoloring agent comprising activated carbon, silica, or activated clay.
