    Abstract: A method for producing a convolute paper core of a desired width and thickness, the method including unwinding paper from a paper roll, thereby creating unwound paper, conveying the unwound paper to a cutting position in a feeding direction, cutting the unwound paper, thereby creating a paper sheet having a length L, conveying the paper sheet from the cutting position to a mandrel in a winding direction, wherein the winding direction is perpendicular to the feeding direction, adhesively and convolutely winding the paper sheet on the mandrel so as to produce a paper core, so that a width W of the paper core is equal to the length L, and repeating the steps of unwinding, conveying, cutting, conveying and adhesively and convolutely winding a plurality of paper sheets until the paper core has the desired thickness.

    Abstract: The tubular core (1) for tissue paper rolls consists of at least one tape (10) of tissue paper with one or more spirally wound tapes, such that the pitch of the winding helix is much smaller than the width of the tape (10) itself, so that two consecutive coils (S) are partially overlapped. In the tubular core (1) there may be several tissue paper tapes (10) wound simultaneously in relative helical coils preferably offset along the longitudinal axis of the same tubular core (1). The coils (S) of each tape (10), in the areas in which they are partially overlapped, are mutually fixed by means of an adhesive film (2) interposed between them. The adhesive film (2) is preferably continuous according to the winding direction of the coils (S) themselves. The presence of said adhesive films (2) produces a solid connection between the helical coils (S) and confers the necessary structural resistance to the tubular core (1) to receive, for wrapping on it, a tissue paper roll for hygienic use or domestic or other tape material.

    Abstract: A device comprises two identical side structures (or halves) attached to each other. The side structures are separable for packaging and storage. Each side structure comprises an outer ring attached to a concentric, elevated inner ring by at least one spanning support. The inner ring comprises a handle attached to the inner perimeter of the inner ring. Each side structure comprises at least one projecting attachment tang and at least one receiving notch. The attachment tang further comprises a head element and a body element. The body element extends axially from the inner ring and the head element extends radially from the body element. The attachment tang and receiving notch are located on the inner ring such that when two side structures are brought together, the attachment tang on one side structure mates with, and is received by, the corresponding receiving notch on the second side structure.
