    摘要: An object is, in a pluggable optical module, to compactly house an optical fiber used for connecting optical components in a housing in which a plurality of optical components are mounted. The pluggable optical module (100) includes: a plurality of optical components, a printed circuit board (51); one or more optical fibers; and optical fiber housing means (14). All or a part of the plurality of optical components are mounted on the printed circuit board (51). One or more optical fibers connect between the plurality of optical components. The optical fiber housing means (14) includes a guide that is disposed on a plate-like member and can wind the one or more optical fibers, and mounted to be stacked with the printed circuit board (51) on which the optical components are mounted and all or a part of optical components other than the optical components mounted on the printed circuit board (51).

    摘要: A telecommunications cable termination box is wall mountable. An interior holds fiber optic splices, fiber optic connectors and adapters, and blown fiber tubes. The interior of the box is sealed. The box has an outer housing and an inner tray. The outer housing includes a hinged cover, snaps for holding the cover to the base, and a seal between the cover and the base, and a tray flange of the tray. Cable slack is managed in the interior to avoid sharp bends of the cables. The cable input ports and output ports are sealed by grommets. Different grommets can be provided depending on the number of cables and the cable sizes. The inner tray can hold gas block seal devices that seal the ends of the blown fiber tubes.

    摘要: Systems and methods of dispensing telecommunications cable from a network component are provided. A system includes a housing, an axle, and a spool. The housing defines an interior region and includes a cable storage portion and a mounting surface defining a receptacle. The axle is configured to removably attach to the receptacle. The spool is configured to be disposed on the axle, and has a first flange proximal to the mounting surface and a removable second flange distal to the mounting surface when the spool is disposed on the axle. The spool has a drum portion configured to support a coiled fiber optic cable and dispense the fiber optic cable as the spool rotates on the axle. Undispensed cable can be removed from the spool with the second flange removed. The cable storage portion of the housing is configured to receive the undispensed coil.
