    摘要: A system for braking rotational movement of at least one beam is disclosed. The system can comprise a frame and at least one beam rotatably supported on the frame. Each beam of the at least one beam can comprise at least one sheave groove on at least one longitudinal end. A rope can have a first end and a second end. Each of the first end and second end can be fixedly coupled to the frame. The rope can be received within a portion of at least one of the at least one sheave groove of each beam. A tensioning assembly can be configured to selectively cause a predetermined braking tension in the rope.

    摘要: A dereeler for spooled strip and wire materials and the like includes a platform shaped to support a spool of coiled material in a horizontal orientation. A motor is operably connected with the platform and selectively rotates the same in a horizontal plane to pay the coiled material off of the spool. A material control post is disposed in a vertical orientation and mounted for axial rotation. A control is operably connected with the motor and the material control post to actuate the motor and uncoil the coiled material from the spool in response to tension applied to the material. A material guide is connected to the material control post for rotation therewith, and is shaped to pass uncoiled material thereover and apply a preselected tension to the material to facilitate smooth material feeding. A variable tensioner is connected with the material control post and generates the preselected tension that is applied to the material, the tensioner being adjustable to vary the preselected tension such that the dereeler can be quickly and easily adapted for use with a wide variety of differently sized spooled strip and wire materials.

    摘要: A wire dispensing rack for holding a wire spool such that wire may be dispensed from the spool includes a first frame assembly. At least first and second support rollers are carried by the first frame assembly. The support rollers are adapted to seat different sized spools holding wire to be dispensed. A puller roller is carried by the first frame assembly below said first and second support rollers. A wire spool is placed on the support rollers and the wire to be dispensed is passed under the puller roller. When the wire to be dispensed is pulled, the wire engages the puller roller creating a downward force on the spool pulling it into the support rollers. The spool is thus retained on the wire rack through the force of dispensing wire.

    摘要: A feeder device for feeding elastomer yarns in knitting machines has a housing split into two parts, on which bearing and drive rollers are rotatably supported, spaced apart from and parallel to one another. The housing encloses an internal chamber that accommodates gears for driving at least one of the bearing and drive rollers. The gears transmit force from a drive wheel, which is secured to a shaft protruding from the housing, to at least one bearing and drive roller. The bearing and drive rollers are supported via ball bearings, which are retained by corresponding bearing seats provided in the housing. The bearing seats are recessed in the respective integrally formed housing parts, which are preferably made by injection molding. The dividing line at which the housing parts border on one another extends through all the bearing seats, so that the ball bearings are retained between the housing parts. Securing the housing parts to one another fixes the ball bearings as well, simultaneously.

The drive belt can be moved to a second position apart from the drive wheel of the vehicle so as to act as a brake for the drive pulleys and reels.

    摘要: A vertical axis coil stock feed apparatus having a turntable rotatable about an upright axis for rotatably supporting coil stock with the coil axis upright. An arm is mounted on a post alongside the turntable for vertical adjustment relative thereto and a coil cover is rotatably mounted on the arm above the turntable for engagement with the upper end of the coil. A stationary coil shroud is also mounted on the arm with coil retainers extending downwardly at spaced locations around the periphery of the coil cover to limit radial expansion of the coil windings. The arm, together with the coil cover and shroud supported thereby, is power operated between lower and raised positions, and a limit switch is operated when the coil cover engages the upper end of the coil stack to stop downward movement of the arm.
