    摘要: A quick connect logistics trailer used with a forked vehicle, where the trailer includes two movable fork guides to attach to the forks of the forked vehicle, a fork guide spacer to move the fork guides to accommodate different fork spacing, and a movable top platform attached by hinges to allow access to components under the top platform. The quick connect logistics trailer also includes side mounted fork pockets to lift the logistics trailer. The quick connect logistics trailer also includes two linear latches attached to the fork guides that can be attached to the forks of the vehicle, and two switchable magnets attached to each fork guide to attach the fork guides to the forks. The quick connect logistics trailer can also include a trailer clip attached to the trailer and a fork truck clip assembly attached to the forked vehicle, where the trailer clip assembly temporarily but securely attaches to the fork truck clip assembly to allow the forked vehicle to tow the logistics trailer.

    摘要: A trailer hitch for hitching a trailer to a motor vehicle is disclosed wherein the motor vehicle has a chassis supported by axles suspended from the motor vehicle chassis, the trailer has a chassis supported by one or more axles suspended from the trailer chassis, and the trailer hitch is adapted to hitch the trailer chassis to the motor vehicle chassis for movement therewith and also cause the trailer chassis to help support the motor vehicle chassis to a variable degree via the trailer hitch and in a manner determined by the spring action provided by the trailer axle suspension system(s). And wherein the trailer hitch is also adapted to allow the hitched trailer chassis to turn with respect to the motor vehicle chassis and prevent such turning and to stow a hitched trailer chassis on the motor vehicle.

    摘要: A double articulated thick has a front vehicle module with a drive engine and having at least one wheeled axle driven by the drive engine through a transmission and having a load-bearing bin, the front vehicle module being interconnected in an articulated manner about a first vertical pin to the front of the load-bearing bin. A rear vehicle module is interconnected in an articulated manner about a second vertical pin to the rear of the load-bearing bin, the rear vehicle module having at least one wheeled axle whereby the bin is supported by the front and rear vehicle modules. The rear module only articulates about the second vertical pin when the articulation of the front module to the bin exceeds 30 degrees and then in a synchronous manner. Typically the maximum articulation of the front module is around 42 degrees and the rear module some 13 degrees.

    摘要: A dual chassis with multi-directional transmission includes a front chassis and a rear chassis that can be united to function as a traditional unitary chassis or can be separated to become two independently, but connected, chassis that can traverse uneven terrain during ground movement. The multi-directional transmission serves to increase the distance between the two chassis and enable them to travel at differing vertical and horizontal angles with respect to the surface of the earth. As part of the multi-directional transmission, a central multi-directional mechanism connects a medial portion of said front chassis to a medial portion of said rear chassis to selectively allow for the independent horizontal and vertical movement of said front and rear chassis when traversing uneven terrain.

    摘要: The present invention relates to a multi-functional transport system having a plurality of mobile transport units, which each have a coupling device in a front and a rear region, by means of which the transport units can be coupled to each other and/or to a lead vehicle. In one configuration, the individual transport units equipped with drives follow the lead vehicle defining the path in a directionally stable manner by an independent path control system. The transport units themselves can also be removed or decoupled from the transport system as independent units. At least one handle, in addition to the couplings, can be used by an operator when in the decoupled state, so that the mailings to be transported can remain on the transport unit until delivery without manual transferring or transporting. This manual guiding of the individual transport unit takes place in a virtually force-free manner.
