    摘要: A railroad car positioning apparatus for positioning a railroad car along a railroad track includes a battery-powered and radio-controlled carriage assembly and first and second dog members mounted on the carriage assembly. The apparatus includes a main control unit for controlling the carriage assembly. The carriage assembly is controlled via radio communication between the carriage assembly and the main control unit. The dog members are generally extendable to an axle height of the railroad car to be acquired for contacting one of the axles of the railroad car. The apparatus further includes a plurality of hydraulic cylinders for moving the carriage assembly in a forward or reverse direction on a guide way disposed between the railroad tracks on which the railroad cars travel. The batteries on the carriage assembly may be remotely recharged using a contactless power transfer device, which includes a battery recharging device situated on the guide way.

    摘要: A drive element for rail-guided load carriers of an overhead conveyor system in which the driver, which is mounted on the drive element via a hole, has a horizontal groove which extends outward from the hole. Too high a horizontal force acting on the driver causes the drive to be pulled off of the pin. Thus, the drive element which is continuously driven via a drive chain can travel past a conveyor carriage which is blocked in the direction of conveyance without the drive element or the conveyor carriage being destroyed. In order to prevent a driver that has been pulled off of the pin from doing any damage, it is secured via a wire bow which is inserted into a continuous hole provided on the driver. If the overhead conveyor system is developed with branches and a pusher is arranged on the conveyor chain behind each conveyor carriage for pushing the conveyor carriage onto a branch, the pusher claw can be developed in the same way as the driver.

    摘要: In devices, such as overhead conveyors which have a main track and one or more spur tracks where carriers hold objects to be treated at the spur track stations, the carriers are towed or pushed along the main track by a chain tow means running in a guide which parallels the main track and are switched to the spur tracks for treatment. To save on costs, the spur tracks usually have an inclined portion so that the carriers move thereon to a treating station by gravity once they have been disconnected and switched from the main track. Here pusher means are provided on the tow chain to push the carriers out of the area of the switching zone, to thereby avoid collision with oncoming carriers and to push the switched carriers far enough that the force of gravity takes effect to cause the carriers to continue their movement.

The load carrier is carried by wheels movably supported on at least one track rail and adapted to be coupled to a drive chain which is guided by a drive rail and provided with coupling elements. The load carrier includes a main stop movable into and out of the path of a coupling element, and a locking pawl, with the main stop extending therebetween. First and second camming bars of predetermined lengths are positioned respectively above and below the track rail at distances to each other with at least a portion of the second camming bar extending into a transfer section so as to maintain the main stop in predetermined inoperative relationship until the main stop has been conveyed beyond that transfer section.
