    摘要: The present invention relates to flying scooter comprising a base made of fibreglass, 20 fans with 20 motors connected to a power system with components comprising capacitors, batteries, photovoltaic solar cells, an oxygen generator, a regulator, electronic sensors, and electronic chips. The scooter has a circular front part that includes a display that gives operational levels of the components, and the base has a cavity for the passenger's legs, and a rubber strap for securing the passenger. Manual controls are provided as well as a grip for the controls. The controls are connected to the sensors and electronic chips wirelessly.

    摘要: A flexible, low friction, rideable sliding toy is disclosed that slides over relatively smooth, firm surfaces with very low friction. The toy is comprised of a bag of flexible, air impermeable material having one or more relatively large holes cut out of the bottom of the bag where the bag contacts the floor when in use. The bag is inflated by allowing it to drop onto the floor, trapping air inside it as it lands. The outer edges of the hole form a relatively airtight seal allowing the bag to retain its inflated state when laid upon by a user, thus permitting a user to propel himself over fiat surfaces in a low friction manner. A flap of material may be affixed inside the bag positioned so that it lies loosely over the large holes, providing a seal when the bag leaks unduly.

The ratio of power distribution from the main engine to the fan device and to the traction wheel device is arranged to be regulated by altering the power consumption characteristics of either or both of the fan device and the traction wheel device.

    摘要: Pneumatic mattress track system to be used as a construction element in vehicles. A soft air filled mattress formed for instance by mattress bags (5) is automatically rolled out and serves as running surface and means of propulsion. The hull (1) of the system is disposed over the mattress on an air cushion (4) and thus without mechanical friction. The mattress formed for instance by the mattress bags (5) is not air tight and filled once, but it is filled automatically when it runs under the system hull (1) and is kept under constant pressure in the carrying position. The air for the mattress is supplied from the air cushion (4) through inlet orifices (7) provided in the wall of the mattress facing the hull (1). The main area of use is transport in difficult and vulnerable terrain.

    摘要: A load supporting structure is disclosed for supporting and maintaining a heavy load stable when being moved on a substantially flat supporting surface by another vehicle. The structure includes a rigid annular foot, and a pressure chamber with one of its walls being a portion of the flat surface. A rigid load supporting platform is connected to the rigid foot and to the pressure chamber for supporting a heavy load. Air is directed into the pressure chamber at sufficient pressure to support substantially all the weight of the supporting structure and the load, but with insufficient pressure to lift the rigid annular foot from the flat surface. The air in the chamber is substantially prevented from flowing under the annular foot but will allow some air to escape in the event crevices or the like in the substantially flat surface provide air flow paths.

    摘要: A fluid bearing with a multicomponent membrane which is inflated to form a torus defining a plenum chamber. The preferred three layer membrane has a fluid impermeable inner layer, a middle layer of a dimensionally stable fabric, and an abrasion resistant outer layer. The layers may be replaced independently. A number of different mechanisms for attaching the layers to the load-carrying member of the bearing are shown, and different membranes having different lift heights may be used with a single load-carrying member. In one embodiment one of a series of interchangeable metal rings of different diameters used with the middle layer of the membrane may be selected to control the lift height. The bearing also includes a replaceable orifice plate which controls the rate of flow into the plenum chamber and into and out of the torus membrane. A valve operates during the usual gradual start up to block flow of fluid to the plenum until the pressure in the torus membrane is one or two p.s.i. above atmospheric.
