    摘要: A fire-resistant wooden pressure plate is formed by conducting a cold pressing of 2˜10 MPa to the uniformly mixed not less than 50 wt % of a wood-containing powder material and an additive. The additive may include metallic oxide, non-metallic oxide, hydrochloride, sulfate, phosphate, weak acid, and strong acid. With class-A fire resistance, in-water rotting resistance, class-0 mold resistance, little or no detectable formaldehyde, some products described herein can replace traditional plates incapable of resisting fire in the following fields: 1. wooden veneer, wooden door, furniture, kitchenware, etc.; 2. wooden wall, base course, ground foundation, suspended ceiling, etc.; 3. wooden flooring; 4. wooden fire-resistant door, fire-resistant wall, etc.; 5. wooden house, wooden bench, wooden bulletin plate, wooden billboard, walkway paving, etc.; 6. wood handicrafts, toys, etc.

    摘要: The present disclosure provides embodiments of a lapper assembly for use to overlap successive sheets of wood veneer or other materials along a conveyor. The lapper assembly may include a stop member configured to be rotatably mounted to a roller such that the stop member is pivotable around the rotational axis of the roller independently of the rotational angle of the roller. The lapper assembly may further include a lever arm coupled to one end of the stop member. An actuator may be pivotably coupled to the lever arm and the conveyor frame, and operated to pivot the stop member between a workpiece engaging position, in which the stop member extends into the path of workpiece flow, and a workpiece disengaging position below the path. Optionally, the lapper assembly roller and other rollers upstream/downstream may be operatively connected to a drive. Corresponding systems and methods are also disclosed herein.

    摘要: The handle portion (the initial 18″) of the bat is formed with a spiral groove with succeeding revolutions spaced by a distance in the range of between ¼″ and ½″. A 30 lb test fishing line is secured in the groove by adhesive and the handle is coated with an non-drip epoxy which is then over coated with elastomer which is preferably shavings from recycled tires. The finished handle is created by sanding the elastomer to form a smooth grip which is contiguous with the initial end of the bat's barrel.

The apparatus also includes detecting unit that detects a knot appearing on the surface of the blank piece by image recognition using the image data; a shape estimating unit that estimates a shape of the detected knot using shape information on the blank piece; and a determining unit that determines, in accordance with the shape of the estimated knot, a cutting location and a cutting shape of the blank piece in such a manner that the cutting location and shape include a part and a thickness of the knot is substantially the same as that of the compressed blank piece.

    摘要: An apparatus for hardening the hitting head area of a wooden baseball bat by compressing of the wooden fibers on the surface thereof which includes a base housing assembly with a track and a carriage assembly with a rail member. The rail member and the track are engageable together to facilitate movement of the carriage assembly with respect to the base housing assembly. A compression roller is mounted to the housing and a bat is retained to the carriage adjacent the roller. The roller is biased into abutment with the bat for compressing the wooden fibers of hitting surface to increase the hitting power thereof as the carriage with the bat mounted thereof is manually powered for abutting movement along the adjacent compressing roller. The bat can be selectively mounted in a bat receiving zone defined by a plurality of U-shaped retaining brackets mounted to the carriage assembly.
