Abstract:
Floor panels are shown, which are provided with a mechanical locking system comprising tongue and grooves provided with protrusions and cavities which are displaceable in relation to each other and configured such that the protrusions can obtain a vertically unlocked position where they match the cavities and a vertically locked position where the protrusions overlap each other.
Abstract:
A bearingless groove router bit includes at least one cutting element affixed to a head of the router bit and has a first end spaced from an end of connected shank connected to the head and a second end adjacent to the second end of the head. The cutting element includes a cutting edge extending along the cutting element between the first end to the second end of the cutting element. The cutting edge may include a radial side edge that projects radially inwardly relative to a central axis of the router bit and a straight side edge that extends from an end of the radial side edge outwardly relative to the central axis to minimize tear out during cutting of a groove in a work piece.
Abstract:
In one example, a machinery fence support system comprises a worktable having a recess therein and a cutting element protruding upwardly from the worktable. The system has a track which is slidably received within the recess of the worktable. A bracket connected to the track; and a sacrificial fence is adjustably connected to the bracket. A track system is connected to the sacrificial fence and a stop assembly connected to the track system. The track slides within the recess of the worktable such that the sacrificial fence passes over the cutting element such that a beaded face frame feature is cut into a workpiece.
Abstract:
A tool for preparing a substrate edge of a counter-top to accept a molded apron having at least two perpendicular appendages. The tool includes cutters for cutting a channel and/or a rabbet into the substrate edge. The spacing between the cutting edges of the cutters corresponds to a spacing between the perpendicular appendages of the molded apron.
Abstract:
A method of and means for continuous vertical finger jointing the ends of lumber wherein individual relatively short timbers or sticks are conveyed transversely of their longitudinal axes in abutting side-by-side, on-edge relationship or solid sheet-like array throughout finger shaping operations and the application of adhesive to one end of each timber, being maintained in right angular relation to their longitudinal axis of travel, and then are assembled end-to-end during linear conveyance thereof to a final step of cutting in desired lengths.
Abstract:
An adjustable depth groove cutter and support therefor for mounting on the spindle of a shaping machine. The cutter head includes a base plate having upstanding pivot pins formed thereon. A cutter having a plurality of groove cutting teeth is mounted on each pivot pin for eccentric adjustment with respect to the axis of rotation of the cutter head. The cutting tooth arrangement on the cutting blades is such that each tooth removes a small portion of the total cut so that the cutting work is divided among all of the teeth. As the cutter blades are adjusted eccentrically outwardly the depth of the cut is increased.
