    摘要: The invention pertains to a device for cutting and chamfering thin-walled pipes. In order to cut and chamfer a pipe, a drive unit with tools arranged on its shaft is manually guided around a pipe that is clamped in a vise by means of clamping jaws with a semicircular contact surface. The tools, namely a saw blade and a milling cutter, are arranged one behind the other on the shaft. The saw blade is provided with a depression, into which the milling cutter is inserted such that the outer edge of the milling cutter is protected.

    摘要: The invention concerns a tool head for shaping machine designed to machine the side segments of tree trunks. The tool head has a rotationally driven main body (1) with several groups of chipper blades (2, 3) round its circumference. The front chipper blade (2) in each group and a front-mounted finishing tool, e.g. a segment (4) of a circular-saw blade, are mounted on a common tool carrier (5). The tool carrier (5) is detachably attached to the tool-head main body (1) and is held in place by clamps (16). If, as a result of wear, it becomes necessary to replace a tool, the tool carrier is replaced after the clamp (16) has been loosened.

The side board (4) exposed in this manner is separated by a saw severance cut. This provides throughout corner faces worked by saw cut which do not have any material splits due to chipping blades.

    摘要: A piece of board stock is advanced on a conveying table between a pair of milling units mounted about and below the table. Each milling unit comprises at least one milling tool having a pair of spaced rotary cutting blades and a profiling tool of lesser diameter than these blades sandwiched therebetween. For each pair of blades on the upper milling unit, there is a corresponding pair of blades on the lower milling unit disposed in coplanar relation therewith. Each pair of blades is so dimensioned as to cut at least halfway, but not all the way, through the piece of advanced board stock, and each profiling tool is so dimensioned as to profile the adjacent surface of the board stock. In this manner, a piece of advanced board stock is simultaneously cut into a plurality of slats having opposed profiled edges, and this is done in a single pass.

The first blade has a greater diameter and a smaller thickness than the second blade and the teeth on the first blade are angularly set so as to partially extend into the cutting plane of the second blade. The blades are mounted coaxially adjacent to one another such that when used to cut through a workpiece, the first blade makes a fast rough cut and the second blade follows partially within the path of the first blade and provides a smooth, finished cut.

    摘要: A rotary cutting mechanism for transversely slicing an elongated rotatably driven roll of material such as plastic film into a number of narrower rolls includes a pair of spaced-apart knife cutting blades mounted for free rotation about an axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the roll. A rotary saw blade is mounted intermediate and in axial alignment with the cutting blades, and is independently driven to remove material between the cutting blade edges as the blades are moved together to slice the roll. The finished narrower cut rolls therefore exhibit smoothly finished side edges and are readily separable from each other, there being no frictional heat developed by the cutting blade edges which are free to turn with the material on the roll as they slice through it.

    摘要: A woodworking machine capable of simultaneously making a number of cuts through stock material and shaping opposed edges simultaneously to form a plurality of pieces finished on all sides. The woodworking machine includes feeding means capable of feeding stock material into and through a cutting zone, first and second arbors disposed in the cutting zone to either side of the feed path of the stock material, each of the arbors being provided with a plurality of saws and shapers aligned with corresponding saws and shapers on the other arbor to saw individual pieces from the stock material and to shape opposed edges. The feed means is driven by a reversible variable speed hydraulic motor and is capable of feeding the stock through the cutting zone at varying speeds. An improved dust collection apparatus is also disclosed herein.
