    Abstract: A comminuting device of biological material includes a casing that contains fixed cutting elements and movable cutting elements cooperating with each other to grind biological material, a collecting chamber for ground biological material, and a partition wall adjacent to the collecting chamber. The fixed and movable cutting elements are above the partition wall together with the biological material to be ground. The collecting chamber is below the partition wall. The fixed cutting elements are in the form of elongated corners that extend radially. The movable cutting elements are in the form of elongated corners that extend radially. The partition wall is provided with wall portions. Calibrated holes are provided for the passage of biological material ground by the fixed cutting elements and the movable cutting elements. The collecting chamber is in connection with the outside of the casing through at least a channel.

    Abstract: A grinder for grinding beans of plant-based products and generating a ground powder can include: a grinding chamber; a wheel motor having a shaft defining an axial direction; a rotating grinding wheel and a stationary grinding wheel housed in the grinding chamber, wherein the rotating grinding wheel is connected to the shaft of the wheel motor and is configured to rotate around the axial direction, and wherein the stationary grinding wheel is stationary against rotation and is configured to axially move in both ways in the axial direction; and a device for resetting position of the rotating and stationary grinding wheels. The device can include: a mechanism for axially moving the stationary grinding wheel; an electric motor, coupled to the mechanism, for actuating the mechanism; and a way to stop the electric motor as soon as a contact state is detected between the stationary and rotating grinding wheels.

    Abstract: A blade element (11) for a refiner (10) for refining fibrous material has a blade element body (12) and blade bars (13, 13a, 13b) and blade grooves (14, 14a, 14b) therebetween.     Abstract: A cyclonic comminuting device includes a set of shearing plates that is adaptable to any colloid mill for improved efficiency and effectiveness in the production of all commodities including, but not limited to, asphalt or bitumen modification, tar, plastics, polymers, cosmetic processing and foods processing. The set of shearing plates includes a set of concave cutting edges. The set of concave cutting edges is applied to radial teeth of a rotor plate and/or a stator plate of the set of shearing plates forming a cyclonic flow pattern of a commodity as the commodity is passed through the comminuting device. The resulting turbulence created by the intersecting concave cutting edges on the rotor plate and the stator plate increases the effective hydraulic shear generated by the rotor plate and the stator plate resulting in greater particle pulverization and resulting in higher quality emulsions with reduced cost of materials required for production.
