摘要: An apparatus and method for recirculating machine tool coolant in which coolant and entrained debris flowing in a shallow stream trough are raised to a higher level by rotation of a bladed wheel in a housing arranged to receive the liquid flow stream. Coolant and debris is then directed down at a magnetized body in a plunging discharge to bring ferrous debris into contact with an upwardly facing surface of the magnetized body. The coolant and nonferrous remaining entrained debris is collected in a tank and pumped back to the filter apparatus by a chopper pump which has a hardened impeller having cutting edges cutting up the remaining debris as it is pumped by the impeller.

摘要: A part of an outer wall composing a clean box 2 becomes a component of a particle processing apparatus, a processing chamber 31 and the clean box 2 are integrated, the entire apparatus can be made compact, and in accordance with such compactness, even when a shaft sealing means 6 and an oil sealing means 323 are disposed in proximity to each other, reliable shaft sealing performance is secured, whereby a shaft sealing structure enabling processing of fine particles by high speed rotation is provided. Furthermore, integration of setting means for components accompanied with assembly and disassembly of the processing chamber is achieved, the entire assembling structure is simplified and the assembly work is made easier, whereby a particle processing apparatus the assembly and disassembly of which accompanied with cleaning work can be easily carried out in a short time without loss of productive efficiency. Moreover, use requiring a raw material supply unit 7 and use involving no necessity of a raw material supply unit 7 can be selectively achieved in a balanced manner in accordance with a supply manner for production in view of attachment and detachment accompanied with cleaning work, and this reduces the work burden of attachment, detachment, and cleaning of the supply unit 7 itself.

摘要: Hard, dense particles of a pharmaceutical agent, suitable for administration to a subject via a needleless syringe are described. The particles are prepared by a multi step process that entails forming particles of a first size where the particles are an admixture of a pharmaceutical agent and a macromolecular carrier and the admixture has a first glass transition temperature; admixing a plasticizer that lowers the first glass transition temperature of the admixture to a second glass transition temperature which is below the first glass transition temperature; maintaining the articles at a temperature above the second glass transition temperature for a time period adequate to cause the particles to shrink and/or collapse; removing the plasticizer from the particles to yield modified particles having an increased glass transition temperature; recovering the modified particles; and then storing the recovered particles.

摘要: A device for supplying and discharging powder particles, wherein the amount of powder particles being supplied and discharged is controlled by holding the particles in a reserve container having an outlet with a plurality of control parts disposed on supporting parts and designed to be shaken from a shaking position so that the particles in the reserve container is supplied and discharged into the outlet from between the control parts, thereby making the device simpler and smaller and reducing power requirements and maintenance costs. Advantageously, particle size and other properties thereof, such as cohesiveness, flushing ability, types can be adjusted for by controlling the shape of the control parts, distance spaces, and vibration. Also, the device can function as a sieve to remove alien material larger than the distance between the control parts.

摘要: An apparatus for roughing edges of solid concrete casted blocks that includes a block support conveyor for supporting and conveying a series of blocks and at least one roughing device disposed at a given distance from a block to be roughened; the device includes at least one impacting arm having a first end connected to a drive shaft having an axis and a second end connected to an impacting element; the shaft is connected to a drive element allowing the shaft to define an arcuate reciprocating motion causing the impacting element to impact the block and to crumble concrete from an edge of the block. The arm impacts the edge at an angle of about 45null relative to the axis of the drive shaft.

摘要: The present invention is particularly, but not exclusively, useful for reducing wear of component parts of impact-type rock-crushing machines caused by earth aggregate flows during operation of impact crushers. The present invention includes a central feed body and impeller shoe that has hard material insert bars fixed therein to reduce wear. The exposed top surface of the central feed body and front face of the impeller shoe are impregnated with a plurality of cemented carbide insert bars. The cemented carbide insert bars form an upper composite matrix that helps to reduce wear and the premature wash out of the hard material insert bars integrally cast within the central feed body.
