摘要: A secure enclave may be used to satisfy privacy requirements and audit requirements. Code may be loaded into the secure enclave. The code may generate a predefined report based on data and added noise. The pre-defined report may be subject to audit requirements. The data may be subject to the privacy requirements. The secure enclave may generate an encryption key and a decryption key based on the code. Only the secure enclave may have access to the decryption key. And the secure enclave may allow only a verified copy of the code to access the decryption key. With the added noise, the report may satisfy a pre-defined differential privacy guarantee. Encrypting the code and ensuring that the report satisfies the differential privacy guarantee may satisfy the privacy requirements. Retaining the report, the code, the secure enclave, and the encrypted data may satisfy the audit requirements.

摘要: System and method relates to a firewater monitor brake system, comprising a vertical locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a horizontal swivel of a firewater monitor system; a horizontal locking disc collar adapted to be affixed externally or internally to a vertical swivel of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake mount adapted to be affixed to a horizontal swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a horizontal brake mount adapted to be affixed to a vertical swivel mounting pad of the firewater monitor system; a vertical brake system; wherein the vertical brake system is affixed to the vertical brake mount such that a portion of the vertical brake system is disposed around a portion of the vertical locking disc collar; a horizontal brake system, wherein the horizontal brake system is affixed to the horizontal brake mount such that a portion of the horizontal brake system is disposed around a portion of the horizontal locking disc collar; and a master cylinder adapted to be affixed to a tiller bar of the firewater monitor system, wherein the master cylinder is connected to and/or coupled to a lever system and wherein the master cylinder is connected to and or coupled to the vertical brake system and/or the horizontal brake system via an actuation system. Methods for making and using the system are also disclosed.

摘要: A system for detecting and extinguishing fires occurring within a predetermined observation area in response to commands received from a monitoring center. The system includes a source of fire retardant liquid and a monitor for selectively directing liquid to the observation area. A valve is disposed in fluid communication between the source and the monitor and is selectively movable between a closed position wherein liquid is prevented from flowing through the valve, and an open position wherein liquid can flow through the valve. An infrared camera generates a signal in response to temperature changes occurring in the observation area. A network switch is provided for communicating with the monitoring center. A control unit in communication with the valve, the camera, and the network switch relays the signal to the monitoring center and moves the valve between the positions in response to commands received from the monitoring center.

摘要: A spray jet discharging device of long range, whose function is based on the production of a powerful air stream with liquid droplets dispersed therein, the maximum velocity of the spray jet being at least 300 km/h. The air stream is produced by a centrifugal fan with a spiral housing (1). The device is mainly used for fire extinguishing. It may be mounted at fixed points or on land vehicles via a suitable support for the fan, which enables both rotation of the spray jet beam in the horizontal plane, and changing of its inclination angle in the vertical plane. It may be remotely controlled (10) or manually operated (60). There is also a version of the device for aerial fire-fighting operations (90), configured to be suspended from an aircraft, e.g. a helicopter, and a device for portable use (1 10), which can be carried by a fireman.

摘要: Disclosed herein is an Ambient Mist Sprinkler head for extinguishing fires that comprises a plurality of mist nozzles attached to a head. The Ambient Mist nozzles are arranged spatially on the head at various angles. The number of mist nozzles, the spatial arrangement and the angular placement of the mist nozzles can vary, depending on the area of coverage required. The angular placement of the mist nozzles on the head is effected so that the mist nozzles stream emerging from one mist nozzle does not impinge on a mist stream emerging from another mist nozzle while providing a maximal amount of mist production, and minimizes the occurrence of streams of water droplets.The present invention relates to Ambient Mist Technology and relates to tools that employ Ambient Technology in combating fire, smoke and airborne pollutants. They do not require gravity to work and can be used at any angle required.

摘要: A firefighting or rescue apparatus includes an aerial ladder, a side stack hose bed and a side access ladder that provides access to the aerial ladder when the aerial ladder obstructs another access ladder. The side stack hose bed is mounted to a frame in a rearward portion of the apparatus. A first side access ladder is mounted to a first side of the frame forward of the side stack hose bed and optionally forward of the rear axle. Another second side access ladder is mounted to a second side of the frame. A movable side stack hose bed cover extends over the hose bed, and can include a rigid plate extending from the first side access ladder toward the aerial ladder. The first side access ladder and hose bed cover cooperatively form a path from a ground location toward the aerial ladder to facilitate access to the aerial ladder.
