Abstract:
The present invention relates in particular to a device (1) for fixing a felt for wiping the smooth surface of a cooking appliance, such as the surface of a crepe pan, which includes a gripping member (3) opposite which extends an element (5) with flat smooth surface for receiving a wiping felt (2), characterized by the fact that it includes, at the periphery of said element (5) with flat smooth surface, at least one pinching member (6) and that this element (5) with a flat smooth surface (5) and this pinching member (6) are configured to be selectively moved towards or away from each other to pinch, respectively release, said felt (2).
Abstract:
A transformable cylindrical sponge 2 for washing dishes and cleaning surfaces 18. Multiple continuous insert slits 4&6 are cut from top end to bottom end for inserting various utensils 14 to clean. Abrasive scouring pad material 8 is adhered to both ends to enable effective cleaning. The sponge 2 can be flipped partially or completely inside-out for alternate cleaning of curved and non-curved surfaces 16 also enabling thorough cleaning and sanitization of the sponge 2. A utilization method is also included.

Abstract:
The invention pertains to a novel scraper assembly having a plurality of interchangeable scraper heads and handles and corresponding method for use. The scraper assembly further comprises a plurality of abrasive mechanisms, namely spring bristles, coiled springs, chainmail abraders and wire cloth abraders capable of effectively cleaning a surface without scoring or otherwise damaging the surface. The invention may be particularly useful for cleaning grills and ovens. Additionally, the invention may also be useful for shaping, adding texture to, stripping materials from or otherwise preparing a surface, including wood, metal or ceramic surfaces.
Abstract:
A scrubbing article 10 including a substrate 12 and a texture layer 14. The texture layer 14 is formed on to a surface 16 of the substrate 12 and includes a multiplicity of microparticles. In some embodiments, the multiplicity of microparticles comprises plastic microbubbles and/or ceramic microspheres that are substantially spherical. In related embodiments, at least some of the ceramic microspheres are solid, and in other embodiments at least some of the ceramic microspheres are glass microbubbles. The substrate 12 can assume various forms, such as nonwoven, fabric (e.g., woven or knitted), foam, film and sponge material or combinations thereof.
Abstract:
A grill oiling apparatus includes a handle having a first end and a second end distal from the first end, a head disposed at the second end of the handle, a container, a fluid applicator coupled to the head, and a fluid release mechanism. The head has a receptacle defined therein. The container is disposed within the receptacle, and has a fluid reservoir defined therein. A valve is configured to control fluid flow out of the fluid reservoir. The fluid applicator includes a plurality of apertures defined therein. The fluid release mechanism is operably coupled to the valve and is configured to actuate the valve between a closed position and an open position to provide fluid communication between the fluid reservoir and the apertures.
Abstract:
A fryer cleaning tool with a sheetlike cleaning head configured to receive a sheetlike resilient fryer cleaning pad with an open-ended slitlike cavity therewithin, which pad can be slidably mounted onto the cleaning head.
Abstract:
The disclosed cleaning element, which may be secured to a cleaning tool, includes a cleaning material that continuously curves from a first working surface to a second working surface allowing for easy cleaning of sharply curving surface, such as, for example, bowls and cups. Also disclosed is a method of making a continuously curving cleaning element.
Abstract:
The scrubbing or scouring pad of the invention is an artificial sponge made from a foam material that changes firmness or rigidity based on the temperature thereof. The foam sponge is then covered with a plastic mesh to increase the scouring power thereof. If desired, the foam may also include thermochromic additives therein that change the color of the foam based on the temperature. This provides a visual indication of the temperature of the foam.
