The present invention relates to Halauxifen based multi component, and particularly two-component herbicides, comprising, combinations, that comprise, as component (a) Halauxifen, and agriculturally acceptable derivatives including salts and esters thereof, and most particularly, Halauxifen-methyl, applied with component (b) co-herbicides which are each chosen to be tailored to be particularly useful in combination with a) for weed control options in specific crops, weeds and application modalities, be they cereals, oilseed rape, sunflower and soy crops. The b) co-herbicides are each chosen from, Propaquizafop; Clethodim; and any and all combinations thereof, for tailored and or selective control of unwanted vegetation. Besides other advantages, the invention has particular utility in inter alia, reducing each herbicidally active ingredient in the multi component, and particularly two-component herbicide to below the herbicidally effective amount applied while providing selective control of undesired vegetation or weeds, particularly Broadleaf weeds.

The present invention relates to an application of bisphenol salts in preparing a disinfectant used for sterilization or formaldehyde removal. The present invention provides a sterilization and disinfection system that uses oxygen in the air as oxidizer, kills microorganisms via catalyzed oxidation, and is particularly suitable in an air purification system. The disinfectant of the present invention can be used for an extended period of time insofar that air is continuously introduced, obviates the need for an anti-viral agent, also obviates the need for a peroxide that is potentially hazardous to safety, uses no halogen-containing irritating substance, and use no alcohol having risk of explosion. This disinfectant system that uses no precious metal is easy to prepare, low in use cost, and free of secondary pollution, and provides a good application prospect.

The present invention provides topical compositions, methods of preparation, and methods of treatment for onychomychosis. In certain specific embodiments, the invention provides an anti-fungal pharmaceutical composition for topical application comprising an anti-fungal agent, a zwitterionic surfactant or charged derivative thereof; a carboxylic acid, a lower alcohol, and water. The acid is selected from a short-chain hydroxy acid, a short-chain fatty acid, and a mixture thereof. In certain other specific embodiments, the invention provides an anti-fungal pharmaceutical composition for topical application comprising an anti-fungal agent, a quarternary amino acid, a keratolytic agent; a lower alcohol; and water. In certain embodiments, the keratolytic agent is urea, ammonium thioglycolate, or a mixture thereof.

The present invention is directed to a nail lacquer consisting essentially of terbinafine as an antimycotic agent, hydroxypropyl chitosan as film forming agent, water and a lower alkanol as solvents. The invention is also directed to a method for treating onychomycosis by topically administering such a nail lacquer to a patient in need of such a treatment.
