    摘要: A method for the at least two-stage temperature control of preforms (28) made from a thermoplastic material. In this method, the preforms (28) are brought, immediately prior to a blow molding or a stretch blow molding process, to a process-specifically distributed softening temperature (T3) according to a predefineable thermal profile, with said softening temperature (T3) being the temperature required for blow molding or stretch blow molding at least the preform's (28) body section located below the thread section (29) and/or a collar area located therebelow. In addition, the preforms (28) are first preheated to a near uniform temperature, particularly with a largely homogeneous temperature distribution (T2).The invention furthermore includes a heating device (10) for performing the method.

    摘要: An apparatus for the conditioning of plastics material pre-forms with a tempering space for receiving a plurality of plastics material pre-forms, with a supply device a removal device, and a conveying device which conveys the plastics material pre-forms from the supply device to the removal device in such a way that each plastics material pre-form remains in the tempering space for a preset duration of the dwell period. The temperature of the plastics material pre-forms upon leaving the removal device is substantially constant irrespective of a duration of the dwell period of the plastics material pre-forms in the tempering space and the conveying device is designed in such a way that each plastics material perform remains in the tempering space for a period of time of at least five minutes.

    摘要: A method for producing a biaxially oriented, heat set plastic container, including the steps of providing a plastic preform within a mold cavity; expanding and stretching the plastic preform into conformity with the surfaces defining the mold cavity to form a biaxially oriented plastic container; inducing crystallinity in the plastic container by using convection heat transfer to heat a surface of the plastic container to a temperature of at least 120° C.; and removing the plastic container from the mold cavity. The PET containers produced by the method have an average sidewall crystallinity greater than about 30%, which allows the PET container to maintain its material integrity during any subsequent pasteurization or retort process of the contents in the PET container, and during shipment of the PET container.

    摘要: Apparatus for molding objects from heat-softenable material which may include a plurality of molds, means for continuously supplying heat-softened material for the molds, and means for distributing heat-softened material from the supplying means to each of the plurality of molds. The heat-softened material supplied is removed for recovery, when the distribution of the heat-softened material is interrupted, by extendable-retractable means normally retracted to prevent interference with the distribution of the heat-softened material to the molds. The distributing means is positioned in a predetermined disposition with respect to the supplying means before the extendableretractable means is extended to receive and recover heatsoftened material. Removal and recovery of the heat-softened material may be initiated in response to the coincidence of an interruption of distribution of the heat-softened material and to the location of the distributing means in the predetermined disposition with respect to the supplying means.
