摘要: Method, for use in a telecommunications network, of selecting from a plurality of composite services a composite service to be executed in response to a network event. Each composite service has associated therewith criteria including a Boolean expression determining whether or not the composite service may be executed in response to the network event. The method comprises composing, for the network event, for each composite service an indicator indicating a) whether or not the criteria for that composite service are met by the network event, and b) a measure of conformity of the network event with said criteria. The method further includes selecting the composite service having associated therewith the indicator indicating that the criteria are met, and indicating closest conformity.

摘要: Systems and methods are described for exposing the third party call control functionality of a telecom signaling network as a web services interface. An intelligent network application part (INAP) plug-in is used to provide the translation logic of simple web service interface calls received from a client application, into the lower-level signaling protocol invocations needed to provide the third party call functionality at the network level. The INAP plug-in is deployed in a service access gateway positioned between the telecommunications signaling-based network and a multitude of service provider applications that seek to access various functions in the network. By implementing the INAP plug-in, applications are provided with access to third party call control (3PCC) within the network, without the necessity of invoking low-level signaling needed to establish calls, terminate or cancel calls, as well as obtain various call information.

摘要: A digital data communications network that supports efficient, scalable routing of data and use of network resources by combining a recursive division of the network into hierarchical sub-networks with repeating parameterized general purpose link communication protocols and an addressing methodology that reflects the physical structure of the underlying network hardware. The sub-division of the network enhances security by reducing the amount of the network visible to an attack and by insulating the network hardware itself from attack. The fixed bandwidth range at each sub-network level allows quality of service to be assured and controlled. The routing of data is aided by a topological addressing scheme that allows data packets to be forwarded towards their destination based on only local knowledge of the network structure, with automatic support for mobility and multicasting. The repeating structures in the network greatly simplify network management and reduce the effort to engineer new network capabilities.

摘要: The present invention discloses a method and an apparatus for migrating a Sub-Network Connection Protection (SNCP) service. The method comprises: receiving a migration request of an SNCP service, wherein the migration request comprises one of: Permanent Connection (PC) to Soft Permanent Connection (SPC) migration, SPC to PC migration; respectively setting cross status control bits of a current operation connection and a correlative connection thereof according to the received migration request, and performing collective migration of the current operation connection and the correlative connection thereof according to the set cross status control bits; respectively modifying the cross status control bits of the current connection and the correlative connection thereof according to the migration result. The consistency of cross management authorities of a working connection and a protection connection of the SNCP service migration can be ensured by the present invention.
