    摘要: A scan assisting fixing device and a scanner using the same are provided. The fixing device is for fixing an object to be scanned, which includes a scanning portion and a holding portion. The fixing device includes an accommodation region, a scan window and a protrusion portion. When the holding portion is loaded in the accommodation region, the scanning portion correspondingly disposed in the scan window is retained and fixed by the protrusion portion, and the position of the holding portion in the fixing device is constant, so that the scanning portion is always within the range of the field depth of the scanner regardless of the specification of the positive film holder, and the clarity of the scanned image is assured.

    摘要: A portable film-image-digitizing scanner with a hidden image-displaying screen includes a machine body and an image-processing device. A picture-taking lens is set inside the said body and a backlight mechanism is set under the base brace. Film insert-laying grooves are set at two sides of the body to provide an insertion from one side for a film clip. And, the image-processing device includes several control buttons, a memory card slot and a cover plate set with the hidden image-displaying screen (TFT-LCD, thin film transistor liquid crystal display). The film clip can fix and set the films inside it and position them on top of the backlight mechanism. The film images are accessed by using the picture-taking lens, and transformed into digitizing data through the image-processing device. The images can then be displayed on the image-displaying screen directly for a direct editing or modifying, or be wire-transferred to TV (television) for displaying. Thus, it can achieve the purpose of fast transforming the film images into digitized data through a single machine for editing, modifying, displaying, or storage to improve the practicality.

    摘要: This invention has as its object to obtain a high-quality read image from which dust or scratches have been removed by an image reading apparatus which reads image information on a transparent original by synchronously scanning a light source unit and image reading unit.     摘要: A scheme for obtaining an original image free from any dust or scratches on a film by scanning a film original or the like with visible light and infrared light has been proposed. This scheme suffers problems, i.e., a large memory size and long processing time since original image data obtained by infrared light must be stored.To solve such conventional problems, this invention provides, e.g., an image scanning apparatus which has a light source for emitting visible light and invisible light, scanning means for scanning an original image irradiated with light emitted by the light source, and control means for controlling the scanning means to scan the original image irradiated with the invisible light, and then to scan the original image irradiated with the visible light.
