摘要： An image reading device includes a reading member and a skew detector. The reading member reads an image of a passing document at a read position preset in a document transport path. The skew detector detects a skew of the document by selecting one of a first skew detection mode and a second skew detection mode based on information that specifies a method for detecting the skew of the document. The first skew detection mode is a mode in which the skew of the document relative to a transport direction is detected based on an image of a leading-edge section, in the transport direction, read by the reading member. The second skew detection mode is a mode in which the skew of the document relative to the transport direction is detected based on an entire image read by the reading member.

摘要： This invention provides an image forming apparatus capable of reliably printing security information even when image data of an original document that is obtained by a reading unit contains security information and an area where the security information is not contained is set as a print area, and a control method thereof. To accomplish this, when image data of an original document contains security information, the image forming apparatus extracts image the security information from data, and sets a print target area from an area indicated by the image data of the original document. When an area corresponding to, from which the security information is extracted, is not contained in the set print target area, the image forming apparatus executes printing using the extracted image data corresponding to the security information, and the image data corresponding to the print target area.

摘要： A system for real time image transmission and preview and a method thereof are applied on a scanner having a predetermined format therein, and an electrical device having a display module. The scanner scans a document in lines along a direction repeatedly according to the predetermined format. The scanner can promptly get an image and then wirelessly send the image out after each linearly scanning a part of the document. The electrical device wirelessly receives the predetermined format information and the image sent out by the scanner, and further edits a format of the image to fit in with the predetermined format so as to make the image capable of being displayed by the display module. Wherein the display module promptly displays the image thereon after each linearly scanning a part of the document along the direction and the image get thereby is received by the electrical device.
