Abstract:
A method and apparatus for generating image information. A specific embodiment of the method includes: acquiring a rotation angle and a scaling of a target image relative to a reference image, and acquiring an intrinsic parameter of a video camera collecting the reference image; generating a projective transformation matrix based on the rotation angle, the scaling and the intrinsic parameter; generating a coordinate offset of the each neighborhood pixel of the feature point in the reference image; generating, based on a coordinate of the feature point in the reference image, the coordinate offset of the each neighborhood pixel of the feature point in the reference image and the projective transformation matrix, coordinates of the each neighborhood pixel of the feature point in the reference image; and generating a feature point descriptor of the feature point.
Abstract:
An image reading device includes: a sensor module having a light source and a plurality of sensors; a white reference plate; and an image processor that generates correction data to be used for shading correction and performs the shading correction on image signals, using the correction data. The light source is configured to switch between at least a first luminous intensity and a second luminous intensity lower than the first luminous intensity. The image processor acquires intermediate data by causing the plurality of sensors to acquire an image signal of the white reference plate illuminated with the second luminous intensity, generates black correction data, based on the intermediate data, and performs the shading correction, using the black correction data, so that a density unevenness, in an image, caused by interference between image signals from the plurality of sensors.
Abstract:
A method of measuring a display delay time includes a step where a display pattern displayed on a first display including i (i is a natural number greater than 2) display elements is switched to a display pattern other than the display pattern at every elapse of a pattern continuation time, and j (j is a natural number, 1
Abstract:
Provided is a data transmission system for detecting and predicting the occurrence of problems in image processing of a printing job before starting printing. A gateway registers a printing job that is received from a user terminal in memory, then transmits the printing job to a MFP. The MFP transmits printing data information to the gateway indicating the data amount in time when an image processing unit performs image processing on the printing job. The user terminal transmits printing data information to the gateway indicating the data amount in time when a simulated image processing unit perform a simulation process on the printing job. The gateway compares the printing data information, and when there is a difference in data amounts, registers problem information in memory indicating that there is a problem in image processing by the simulated image processing unit or the image processing unit.
Abstract:
A method of measuring a shutter time lag of a camera includes: a first step of switching a display pattern of a display unit including i (i is a natural number greater than 2) display elements to a different display pattern at every time TP, and in the first step, the number of j (j is a natural number, and 1
Abstract:
There is provided a communication apparatus including a communication unit configured to communicate with a control apparatus, which has a recording unit and executes processing in accordance with a command that has been written to the recording unit, an accepting unit configured to accept selection of a command by a user, and a writing unit configured to write the selected command to the recording unit, the communication apparatus comprising: a sensing unit configured to sense connection to the control apparatus via the communication unit; a determination unit configured to determine whether the recording unit has been set to a write inhibit state if the connection has been sensed by the sensing unit; and a notification unit configured to notify the user of the fact that the recording unit has been set to the write inhibit state, if the determination unit determines that the recording unit has been set to the write inhibit state.
Abstract:
An image forming apparatus is configured to print a predetermined test chart that corresponds to an image defect to be analyzed, and to transmit the printed test chart to an image diagnostic apparatus as scanned image data. The image forming apparatus includes: an image forming unit that prints the test chart; a scanning unit that scans the test chart printed by the image forming unit and acquiring the image data; and a transmission unit that transmits the image data of the test chart scanned by the scanning unit, after changing the size of the image data corresponding to the defect.
Abstract:
While calibration is being executed in an image forming apparatus, it is not possible to execute printing until the calibration is completed, and therefore, usability of a user is poor. An image forming apparatus including Media Direct Print function to print data stored in a portable storage medium. The image forming apparatus includes a connection detection unit configured to detect connection of the portable storage medium and a control unit configured to control calibration from being executed in response to the connection detection unit detecting the connection of the portable storage medium.
Abstract:
An image testing apparatus compares output image data of an image which has been output onto a recording medium and original image data which has been read from an original and is used to output the image onto the recording medium, and determines an output state of the image. The image testing apparatus includes an output mode obtaining part configured to obtain an output mode designated by a user; a testing item setting part configured to set, according to the output mode obtained by the output mode obtaining part, an item for which the output state of the image is changed, as a testing item; and a testing part configured to test the output state of the image for the testing item which is set by the testing item setting part.
