Abstract: One or more audio files including a recording of one or more verbal statements provided by a first participant of the conference call are obtained. A determination is made that the recorded one or more verbal statements include a question associated with audio-based polling of a set of second participants of the conference call. Response data indicating one or more responses to the question provided by at least one of the set of second participants is obtained. A report indicating one or more outcomes of the audio-based polling is generated based on at least the question and the one or more responses to the question indicated by the obtained response data.

Abstract: Methods and system for automating conferencing in a communication session are provided herein. In some embodiments, a method for automating conferencing in a communication session includes establishing a communication session between a first end-user device and a second end-user device; receiving a first notification message from the first end-user device indicating that the communication session is at least one of visible or joinable by one or more devices associated with the first end-user device, wherein the one or more devices are associated with the first end-user device when the one or more devices are one of (i) pre-registered and stored with an association to the first end-user device, (ii) pre-authenticated to tether the one or more devices to the first end-user device, or (iii) pre-associated with a same user account profile; and sending a second notification message to the one or more devices associated with the first end-user device.

Abstract: An apparatus and mechanism to manage multi-modal real-time or quasi real-time sessions such as voice, video, instant messaging, or web-conferencing across multiple devices through a simple subscription to a session management service. Consistent with one embodiment of the present disclosure, an audio conference system includes communications circuitry and a caller interface, each associated with setting up or managing the audio conference. Menu options may be provided to validate or authenticate incoming telephony calls. In response to a selection of the menu options, an incoming telephony call may be prompted to select a callback number, and then the system monitors for a trigger event. A participant is contacted in response to detecting the trigger event, and the contacted participant is then placed into the audio conference.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a mentor application automatically obtains assistance with software applications. The mentor application generates a computer-generated help request associated with a first user of a software application. Based on the computer-generated help request and a set of user contexts associated with a set of users, the mentor application computes match scores. Each match score predicts how suitable a particular user is for servicing the computer-generated help request. Based on the match scores, the mentor application transmits at least one help request notification to at least one user included in the set of users to determine a second user to service the computer-generated help request. The mentor application then establishes a computer connection between the first user and the second user through which an interactive help session between the first user and the second user is held.
