Abstract: Blockchain-based proof of presentation of content on a media channel, including: generating, upon receiving a request to generate, at least first, second, and third parameters, wherein the first and second parameters are input parameters and the third parameter is calculated as an output parameter of a one-way cryptographic function; generating a first type of block by incorporating the first and third parameters into the first type of block; validating the first type of block and the blockchain; appending the first type of block to the blockchain when both the first type of block and the blockchain are declared valid; and embedding the second parameter into the content that is to be made available on the media channel to produce tainted content.

Abstract: Provided is a method for operating an authentication server for authenticating a user who is communicating with an enterprise via a network. The method include receiving, via the network, a first authenticator including first information from a low energy wireless device received via a user device wirelessly, and storing the first authenticator. When the authentication service later receives, from the enterprise, a request to authenticate the user, the authentication server transmits an authentication request to the user device via the network requesting that the user read information from the low energy wireless device using the user device. The information received from the low energy wireless device in response to the authentication request is then used authenticate the user by comparing the information received from the low energy wireless device due to the authentication request with the stored first authenticator.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure provide a method for enhancing standard authentication systems to include risk-based decisions. Risk-based decisions can be selectively implemented within existing authentication systems to strategically modify and supplement security if an unacceptable risk is detected. Embodiments capture information pertaining to a user and user device. Information is stored to create a profile for the user and user device. A comparison between the stored information and live data can be performed within authentication systems to optimize security. If the results of the comparison demonstrate the presence of an acceptable risk, then the need for subsequent authentication can be reduced or eliminated, which improves a user experience.
