Abstract: Bandwidth part (BWP) switching may benefit a wireless communications system. Such BWP switching may include indication of one or more timing parameters used for time domain resource allocation. For example, the timing parameters may be indicated based on an index to a look-up table (e.g., a bit field in a control transmission). In some cases, one or more tables may be configured for a given BWP, and different tables may contain a different number of rows. The size of the bit field indexing the table may in turn depend on the number of rows. When switching from a first BWP to a second BWP, the size of the bit field may be based on the table of the first BWP, but the bit field may index the table of the second BWP. Techniques supporting improved timing parameter management during BWP switching are discussed herein.

Abstract: Disclosed are techniques for determining a distance (or range) between a first wireless entity and a second wireless entity. In an aspect, the first wireless entity transmits a first positioning reference signaling (PRS) signal to the second wireless entity at a first time, where the first PRS signal is received by the second wireless entity at a second time, and receives a second PRS signal from the second wireless entity at a third time, where the second PRS signal is transmitted by the second wireless entity at a fourth time. The first wireless entity enables the distance to be determined by a location computing entity, for example, by a location server, based on the first, second, third, and fourth times. The first wireless entity may be a mobile device or a base station and the second wireless entity may be the other of the mobile device or base station.

Abstract: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, a method for receiving interference information, identifying a plurality of interferers, approximating a location of the plurality of interferers, and adjusting an antenna pattern of an antenna. Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. Resources for narrowband communication in an unlicensed radio frequency spectrum band may be configured and allocated based on resource availability, regulatory constraints, and device capability or category. A narrowband wireless device, such as a machine type communication device or other relatively low complexity device, may communicate using one or more narrowband carriers, which may occupy between one tone and multiple resource blocks in an unlicensed spectrum band (e.g., any number of resources between one (1) tone and multiple resource blocks (RBs)). Different device types may thus be configured differently as they move between geographic regions. The base station may then communicate with the narrowband mobile device based on the resource allocation and the carrier configuration.

Abstract: A system that incorporates the subject disclosure may perform, for example, a method for detecting signal interference in a first segment of a plurality of segments of a radio frequency spectrum of a wireless communication system, determining according to the signal interference a measure of quality of service of the first segment for transmitting voice traffic, comparing the measure of quality of service to a desired measure of quality of service measure for voice traffic, determining from the comparison that the first segment is not suitable for voice traffic, and notifying a system that the first segment is not suitable for voice traffic.
