    摘要: A rotating electric machine includes a stator and a rotor. The rotor includes a rotor core, an axial end part, and a rotor magnet inserted into an insertion hole formed so as to pass through the rotor core. The axial end part has a recessed portion. The rotor magnet includes a first side surface and a second side surface. The first side surface is fixed to a first inner wall surface of the insertion hole. In a cross section perpendicular to the axial direction, a width of the first inner wall surface is larger than a width of the first side surface. The second side surface is fixed to a second inner wall surface of the recessed portion. In the cross section perpendicular to the axial direction, a width of the second inner wall surface is larger than a width of the second side surface.

    摘要: Provided is a slip ring device for a rotating electric machine, which is capable of reliably retaining a long lead while preventing movement and deformation of the long lead during insert molding. The slip ring device for a rotating electric machine includes: a first ring and a second ring; a long lead (12) having one end portion connected to the first ring and another end portion connected to a rotor coil; a short lead having one end portion connected to the second ring and another end portion connected to the rotor coil; and a molded body formed by insert molding, for retaining the first ring, the second ring, the long lead (12), and the short lead in a mutually insulated fashion. The molded body includes a restricting member (15) for restricting the long lead (12) from being moved and deformed during the insert molding.

    摘要: A connection structure and a connection method of connecting field coils and lead wires in a vehicle alternator. The connection structure includes a rotor assembly, a rear fan, and a rotor insulator. The rotor assembly includes a rotor shaft, a spool bobbin, and rotor segments. In the connection structure, a soldering or welding process is performed on twisted parts, which are formed by twisting field coils and lead wires around each other, the twisted parts are bent in the guide pockets of the rotor insulator, epoxy is applied to the outer surfaces of the twisted parts and the inner surfaces of guide pockets, and the rear fan is coupled to the front of the rotor insulator so that the inner surfaces of the protrusion hubs of the rear fan are in close contact with the guide pockets of the rotor insulator.

    摘要: An electric motor having an armature which includes a coating of thermally conductive plastic applied in a conventional injection molding process. The armature also includes a fan which is integrally formed from the thermally conductive plastic applied to the armature. This completely eliminates the need to apply one or more coatings of a trickle resin to the armature. It also eliminates the need to separately form and secure a fan by a suitable adhesive to the armature, which together significantly simplifies the manufacturing and cost of the armature. The plastic coating also better fills the spaces between the magnet wires, thus promoting even more efficient cooling and better holding of the magnet wires stationary relative to one another. The thermally conductive plastic coating may be mixed with other suitable materials to provide a density approximately equal to the magnet wires. This eliminates the need to balance the armature after the injection molding step.
