摘要： A contactor apparatus and method for operating the contactor apparatus can include a contactor assembly with a contactor coil operably coupled to a contactor switch. One or more sensors can be provided in the contactor assembly adapted to measure one or more aspects of the contactor assembly. Based upon the measured aspects, a controller can initiate operation of the contactor switch to effectively toggle the contactor switch at a zero-crossing point along an alternating current waveform.

摘要： To provide a dc interruption apparatus requiring no circuit for producing current zero point forcibly and having a simplified construction adequate for cost reduction, one end of a main contact 30a, 30b, 30c for each phase of a dc high speed vacuum circuit breaker 30 is connected with a positive output end of a corresponding phase of a rectifier 20 for converting ac power to dc power with semiconductor devices arranged in a bridge. The other ends of the main contacts 30a, 30b, 30c are connected together to form a positive side output line 40. A pulse-shaped current flows in an arm of each phase of the rectifier 20 and the current is commutated among the arms sequentially, so that the current is reduced to zero after the commutation. Each of main contacts 30a, 30b, 30c of dc high speed vacuum circuit breaker 30 interrupts the current reduced to zero by the commutation, so that the interruption is easier.

Each switching unit includes a semiconductor switching device, a gate drive circuit driving the semiconductor switching device, and a DC-DC converter receiving a DC voltage from a cathode of the associated diode and supplying drive power to the gate drive circuit.

摘要： A pole part of a low-, medium- or high voltage circuit breaker arrangement includes a pole housing for accommodating a vacuum interrupter with a pair of corresponding electrical contacts. A fixed electrical contact is connected to an upper electrical terminal and a movable electrical contact is connected to a lower electrical terminal. The movable electrical contact is operated by a pushrod, and a triggered-vacuum gap or -gas gap or the combination of gas and vacuum gap connected in series is connected in parallel to the electrical contacts in order to avoid contact welding. The triggered vacuum gap or gas gap unit is removably mounted between the upper electrical terminal and the lower electrical terminal is arranged adjacent to the pole housing. Furthermore, the vacuum interrupter device can be triggered directly to protect the vacuum interrupter device from an in-rush current load during the closing operation, for example, during capacitive switching.

摘要： An electric power generation control system for a vehicle, which enables generation of electric power by a generator as much as possible while preventing an electrical component from being overheated by power generation by the generator. The electric power generation control system selectively switches a mode of the generator between first and second modes in which an instruction voltage is higher and not higher than an allowable voltage of a wire harness, respectively. A counter value is counted up in the first mode and down in the second mode. When the counter value has reached a higher limit value, the first mode is inhibited and the power generation mode is set to the second mode. This increase the proportion of an execution time period of the first, and accordingly, when a possibility of overheating the wire harness becomes high, the instruction voltage is lowered.
