摘要: The present disclosure provides an apparatus of identifying a vertebral body from a medical image, and the apparatus includes a vertebral bone identification module configured to identify the vertebral body based on a multi-slice medical image provided from an outside, in which the vertebral identification module reconstructs the multi-slice medical image to create a three-dimensional medical image, obtains a coronal projection image for the three-dimensional medical image by projecting the three-dimensional medical image in a coronal plane direction, divides the coronal projection image into a selection area including at least one of a lumbar and a thoracic, obtains area information corresponding to the selection area in the three-dimensional medical image based on the divided selection area, and performs numbering on the vertebral body based on the area information and the three-dimensional medical image.

摘要: Disclosed are a cranial CT-based grading method and a corresponding system, which relate to the field of medical imaging. The cranial CT-based grading method as disclosed solves the problems of relatively great subjective disparities and poor operability in eye-balling ASPECTS assessment. The grading method includes: determining frames where target image slices are located from to-be-processed multi-frame cranial CT data; extracting target areas; performing infarct judgment on each target area included in the target areas to output an infarct judgment outcome regarding the target area; and outputting a grading outcome based on infarct judgment outcomes regarding all target areas. The grading method and system as disclosed may eliminate or mitigate the diagnosis disparities caused by human factors and imaging deviations due to different imaging devices, and shorten the time taken by human observation, consideration, and bared-eye grading, thereby serving as a computer-aided method to provide reference for medical studies on stoke.

摘要: A deep learning-based lung disease diagnosis assistance system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes an image input unit inputting a diagnosis target image obtained by capturing a lung image; a bone area removal unit removing a bone area from the diagnosis target image to output a soft tissue image from which the bone area is removed, on the basis of the bone binary model; a lung area extraction unit extracting a lung area from the soft tissue image to output a lung image of the lung area on the basis of a lung segmentation model; and a lung disease diagnosis unit diagnosing whether lung disease is present in the lung image on the basis of a lung disease detection model.

摘要: A method for remotely assessing oral health of a user of a mobile device by obtaining, using the mobile device (40), at least one digital image (1) of said user's (30) oral cavity (31) and additional non-image data (2) comprising anamnestic information about the user (30). The digital image (1) is processed both using a statistical object detection algorithm (20) to extract at least one local visual feature (3) corresponding to a medical finding related to a sub-region of said user's oral cavity (31); and also using a statistical image recognition algorithm (21) to extract at least one global classification label (4) corresponding to a medical finding related to said user's oral cavity (31) as a whole. An assessment (10) of the oral health of said user (30) is determined based on the local visual feature(s) (3), the global classification label(s) (4) and the non-image data (2).

摘要: A computer-implemented method of preoperatively planning a surgical procedure on a knee of a patient including determining femoral condyle vectors and tibial plateau vectors based on image data of the knee, the femoral condyle vectors and the tibial plateau vectors corresponding to motion vectors of the femoral condyles and the tibial plateau as they move relative to each other. The method may also include modifying a bone model representative of at least one of the femur and the tibia into a modified bone model based on the femoral condyle vectors and the tibial plateau vectors. And the method may further include determining coordinate locations for a resection of the modified bone model.

摘要: The pose and shape of a human body may be recovered based on joint location information associated with the human body. The joint location information may be derived based on an image of the human body or from an output of a human motion capture system. The recovery of the pose and shape of the human body may be performed by a computer-implemented artificial neural network (ANN) trained to perform the recovery task using training datasets that include paired joint location information and human model parameters. The training of the ANN may be conducted in accordance with multiple constraints designed to improve the accuracy of the recovery and by artificially manipulating the training data so that the ANN can learn to recover the pose and shape of the human body even with partially observed joint locations.
