A color-image forming method in a silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material, having the steps of: performing exposure of the light-sensitive material cut into sheets; and subjecting the exposed light-sensitive material sheets to photographic processing, while conveying them with conveying rollers, with the sheet conveying speed being 40.0 to 100 mm/sec; wherein the light-sensitive material to be exposed contains any of: 1) a dye-forming coupler of formula (IA), 2) a compound of formula (I), and 3) 1.4 mg/m2 or more of a compound of formula (II); wherein R′ and R″ are a substituent; Z is a hydrogen atom, or a coupling split-off group; A is an alkyl group, M is a cation, and R is an atom or group having 100 or lower total molecular weight.

A method of processing, with a developer in which a solution physical development arises, a silver halide photosensitive material containing a compound capable of undergoing a one-electron oxidation to thereby form a one-electron oxidation product thereof which belongs to the following types 1 to 4: Type 1: the one-electron oxidation product being capable of releasing further two or more electrons accompanying a subsequent bond cleavage reaction; Type 2: the one-electron oxidation product being capable of releasing further one electron accompanying a subsequent bond cleavage reaction, and the compound having, in its molecule, two or more groups adsorptive to silver halide; Type 3: the one-electron oxidation product being capable of releasing further one or more electrons after going through a subsequent bond forming reaction; and Type 4: the one-electron oxidation product being capable of releasing further one or more electrons after going through a subsequent intramolecular ring cleavage reaction.

The present invention provides a system of a digital color proof in which consistent images are obtained while minimizing density variation in spite of various variations of conditions due to the use of a silver halide light-sensitive color material, specifically, the present invention provides a method for forming proof images similar to printed images in terms of various characteristics such as the paper quality of silver halide light-sensitive materials, the dot gain, and the density.

A silver halide color photographic light-sensitive material has a red-, green-, and blue-sensitive emulsion layer in this order from the side closest to a support. The green-sensitive layer contains a coupler represented by formula (MC-I), and the red-sensitive emulsion layer contains a coupler represented by formula (CC-I): 1 wherein R1 represents a hydrogen atom or substituent; one of G1 and G2 represents C, the other represents N; and R2 represents a substituent which substitutes one of G1 and G2 which is C; X represents a hydrogen atom or a splitting off group; 2 wherein Rc1 represents a hydrogen atom or alkyl group, Rc2 represents an alkyl or aryl group, n is 1, 2, or 3, and Y is positioned in the meta and/or para position of the phenyl group with respect to the sulfonyl group, and represents alkyl, alkenyl, alkoxy, aryloxy, acyloxy, acylamino, sulfonyloxy, sulfamoylamino, sulfonamide, ureido, oxycarbonyl, oxycarbonylamino, or carbamoyl group.

The present invention provides a method for forming color images by processing in a short period of time color photographic materials containing at least one oil-soluble coupler with a color developer which does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol, wherein a silver halide color photographic material having at least one silver halide emulsion layer on a reflective support, the emulsion layer containing a dispersion of oleophilic fine grains having a mean grain size of 0.25 .mu.m or less, which contain a coupler capable of forming a dye after having been coupled with an oxidation product of an aromatic primary amine developing agent, and at least one high boiling organic solvent having a dielectric constant of 4.00 or more (25.degree. C., 10 KHz). The photographic material is imagewise exposed and then subjected to development with a color developer which contains an aromatic primary amine developing agent but does not substantially contain benzyl alcohol for 2 minutes and 30 seconds or less.

A photographic light sensitive silver halide emulsion layer has associated therewith a pyrazoloazole dye-forming coupler having the formula: ##STR1## wherein: R.sup.1 is a substituent bonded to the pyrazolotriazole nucleus by a fully substituted carbon atom;X is hydrogen or a coupling-off group;L is a divalent linking group;R.sup.2, R.sup.3, and R.sup.4 are independently hydrogen or substituent groups; andZ.sub.a, Z.sub.b, and Z.sub.c are independently --C(R')(R")--, .dbd.N--, .dbd.C(R')--, or --NH--, wherein R', and R" are independently H or a substituent, provided that one of either the Z.sub.a --Z.sub.b or the Z.sub.b --Z.sub.c bond is a double bond and the other is a single bond, and provided that when the Z.sub.b --Z.sub.c bond is a double bond, it may form part of a fused ring.

Disclosed is a silver halide color photographic material having plural light-sensitive layers on a reflective support, in which the reflective support is composed of a base and two or more waterproof resin coat layers each having a different white pigment content in such a way that the resin coat layers are sandwiched between the base and the light-sensitive layers, the cyan coupler-containing silver halide emulsion layer contains a particular pyrroloazole cyan dye-forming coupler, and the pH of the coated film of the material is from 4.0 to 6.5. The material is low-priced and has a good coloring property, excellent color reproducibility and high sharpness. As the material has sufficient pressure resistance, it has few stress marks even after stored. Also disclosed is a method for forming a color image, using the photographic material.
