In the EVF mode, a control unit 32 of a digital camera 10 moves members 18b, 18c, and 18d of an objective optical system 18 toward the subject along an optical axis L, and inserts a display unit 19 to a position of an imaging plane 21 with a distance between the member 18d and the imaging plane 21 secured to be long. In the OVF mode, the control unit 32 fixes the objective optical system 18 at a position determined in advance, and retracts the display unit 19 from a gap between the objective optical system 18 and an eyepiece optical system 20.

摘要： An optical viewfinder is configured to be attached to a camera body with an interchangeable lens. The optical viewfinder includes: a Keplerian viewfinder optical system 301 including a scalable objective lens group 330; a stepping motor 305 configured to drive the objective lens group 330 along an optical axis; and a control circuit configured to control driving of the stepping motor 305 based on a result of detection by a PI 306. When a variable focal length lens (an interchangeable lens) is attached to a camera body, the control circuit controls driving of the stepping motor 305 in accordance with a focal length of the variable focal length lens and displays at least a photographing frame on an EVF panel 307.

摘要： A telephoto lens sighting apparatus. A mount couples to a hot shoe of a camera and a first sight couples to the mount. The first sight has a first gap that corresponds with a viewing aperture of a telephoto lens coupled to the camera. A second sight may be movably coupled to the camera through a sliding track and may thereby move with respect to the first sight. The second sight has a second gap, and the first gap and second gap when aligned correspond with a viewing aperture of a telephoto lens coupled to the camera. A first receiver may couple to the camera to selectively receive the first sight and a second receiver may couple to the camera to selectively receive the second sight. The first sight and second sight may each pivot to a plurality of positions and their heights may be adjusted.

摘要： A viewfinder unit in a camera has a viewfinder objective optical system that contributes to formation of an object image. 摘要： An open frame sight viewfinder for a photographic camera is disclosed wherein an aiming or target ring of aiming the camera at a subject to be photographed is positioned forward of a correspondingly shaped viewing aperture to view the subject simultaneously through the ring and the aperture. The aiming ring is dimensioned to approximately encircle the extreme rays of ambient light permitted to pass through the viewing aperture. As as a result, when the camera is correctly aimed at the subject, the aiming ring substantially cannot be seen in the viewing aperture. However, when the camera is incorrectly tilted relative to the subject, the aiming ring partially occludes the viewing aperture.
