摘要: An image capture apparatus detects an eye approaching to a finder, switches between a locked state in which execution of a function corresponding to an operation on a touch panel having a display surface of a display unit capable of displaying a captured image as an operation surface is restricted and an unlocked state in which the execution of the function is not restricted, and performs control such that in the locked state, even if a specific operation is performed on the touch panel without detecting the eye approaching, predetermined processing corresponding to the specific operation is not executed, and the predetermined processing is executed in response to the specific operation on the touch panel being performed in a state where a predetermined condition including detection of the eye approaching is satisfied.

The cover member is moved by the link mechanism between a closed position where the cover member covers the opening of the main-body housing section and an open position where the cover member is disposed in a position separated from the opening of the main-body housing section and forms an optical path of the aiming light.

In the EVF mode, a control unit 32 of a digital camera 10 moves members 18b, 18c, and 18d of an objective optical system 18 toward the subject along an optical axis L, and inserts a display unit 19 to a position of an imaging plane 21 with a distance between the member 18d and the imaging plane 21 secured to be long. In the OVF mode, the control unit 32 fixes the objective optical system 18 at a position determined in advance, and retracts the display unit 19 from a gap between the objective optical system 18 and an eyepiece optical system 20.

摘要: A portrait photograph camera incorporates a taking lens assembly having a predetermined focal length, and photographs a human head on instant film. A pair of indicia are displayed within a field frame of a viewfinder. According to the indicia, the human head is framed or targeted. The framed human head is photographed, so as to create an image having a predetermined size range on the film. In a preferred embodiment, a telephoto converter lens is selectively mountable on the taking lens. Combined with the telephoto converter, the taking lens has a longer focal length. A second pair of indicia are displayed within the finder field frame. The human head as framed by the second indicia is photographed at the longer focal length so as to create on the film an image in the former predetermined size range. A rangefinding device measures the subject distance. When the subject distance is too great for photography through the taking lens without a converter lens, a telephoto indicator lamp displays in the viewfinder an instruction to mount the telephoto converter lens on the taking lens assembly. Another converter lens, with its associated indicia, is provided to shorten the focal length for wide-angle photography.

A switch is operable by an operator to control operation of the motor for moving the lens from an initial position on the axis to a final stationary position that establishes the focal length of the lens. Control apparatus is responsive to the setting of the switch for operating the motor such that movement of the lens from its initial position to its final position always ends after the lens travels to its final position in a predetermined direction.
