Abstract: The present disclosure illustrates a filter area structure of lens, and the lens includes a central optical area and a peripheral optical area surrounding the central optical area, and the central optical area is formed at a central part of the lens, and light passes the central optical area to clearly image on a central imaging area of a retina of a user's eyeball, and the filter area structure comprises a filter area formed on the peripheral optical area and configured to filter out a preset percentage of visible light, and the light passing the filter area images on different area of macula of retina of the user's eye, thereby effectively delaying or preventing undesired growth of the eye axis, and further achieving the objective of correcting or controlling myopia.

Abstract: An eyeglass assembly for training golfers includes first and second lenses that are opaque except at first and second viewing portions. The first viewing portion on the first lens provides a first eye of the user with a view of the target in a target region, such as the golf ball, while the second viewing portion provides a second eye of the user with a view not including the target region. An opaque feature such as a horizontal line is also provided on the second lens such that the eyes of the user co-register the horizontal line with the first viewing portion to form a focus point that must be maintained on the golf ball if head movement is to be avoided during a swing. The opaque portions at the remainder of the assembly prevent visual distractions that may undesirably move the eyes and the head during the swing.

Abstract: A method for coloring an optical element in a non-uniform linear pattern is provided. The method includes (a) preparing at least one colorant composition containing at least one photochromic material; (b) depositing the colorant composition on at least one surface of the optical element in a controlled, predetermined pattern using an inkjet printing apparatus to provide a linearly gradient color pattern on the optical element when the optical element is exposed to actinic radiation; and (c) drying the colorant composition on the surface of the optical element. Abstract: A sunglass using a transparent, pixelated, liquid crystal (LC) two-dimensional array, or functionally equivalent technology, in possible combination with optical materials to selectively attenuate or block the Sun or its reflection from the field of view (FOV) of the person wearing the glasses is disclosed. An imaging camera located within the sunglasses detects the Sun, with software determining its position via centroiding algorithms. The Solar position is then translated, and, if necessary, rotated, scaled and skewed for the appropriate pixels in the left and right lens of the sunglass, where left eye and right eye “circles” are created to block or attenuate the Sun's image from the person wearing the glasses. Additionally, the sunglass lens will have protection against the Sun's ultra-violet (UV) rays. The internal power source may be either replaceable, or charged by solar or standard methods.

Abstract: A head-mounted display system including a contact lens having a first region and a second region adjacent the first region, an eyewear lens having an inner surface facing the contact lens, and an illuminator configured to produce an imaged light output directed toward the inner surface of the eyewear lens. A first imaged light ray produced by the illuminator is incident on the inner surface and is reflected by the eyewear lens to the first region. The first region is configured to transmit the first imaged light ray, and the second region is configured to reflect or absorb a second imaged light ray produced by the illuminator and reflected from the eyewear lens. The eyewear lens is configured to transmit an ambient light ray to the second region and the second region is configured to transmit the ambient light ray.
